My Snap Judgments from No. 11 #Texas' 31-3 home victory over Mississippi State Saturday night as the #Longhorns prepare to hit the road for back-to-back games at Missouri and at LSU. 247sports.com/college/texas/…

Texas limits Jaray Bledsoe strip-sack of Arch Manning at the Texas 28 to a Mississippi State 30-yd field goal. Longhorns' 3Q horrors continue. TEXAS 17 ... MISS ST 3 ... 8:58 3Q

Texas defense playing without injured starters DE Colin Simmons, NCB Graceson Littleton and CB Kade Phillips.

Texas LB Rasheem Biles, who already has a strip-sack in this game, just timed his blitz perfectly, broke up a reverse and forced a 15-yard loss.

Former Texas DL Jaray Bledsoe gets the strip sack of Arch Manning, recoverd by Mississippi State at the Texas 28 with 11:51 left in the 3Q.

#Longhorns WR Cam Coleman in sweats on the Texas sideline to start the second half. Posted two catches for 61 yards, including a 14-yard TD catch in the 1Q. TEXAS 17 ... MISS ST. 0 ... 14:02 3Q

Texas, which leads Miss. State, 17-0, at halftime, is the worst good team I've ever covered (with the exception of the #Longhorns' defense, which is incredible). Tonight, Longhorns getting whipped along the OL, have 15 carries for 37 yards (2.5 ypc). Texas has 9 carries for 13 yards from its RBs (1.4 ypc). Arch Manning (7-10 pass, 89 yds, 1 TD; 6 carries, 24 yards) has been sacked 3 times. A needless illegal block in the back by Rhett Anderson negated a 76-yard punt return TD by Ryan Niblett. Texas' NCB Graceson Littleton, WR Cam Coleman and CB Kade Phillips left the game in first half. And the 3Q, where games go to die for Texas, is still ahead.

BIG BOY touchdown by #Texas #Longhorns' DT Maraad Watson on a 61-yard scoop-and-score thanks to a strip-sack by LB Rasheem Biles (who also delivered two blocks for Watson on his scoring run). TEXAS 17 , Mississippi State 0 ... 1:13 2Q

#Texas sophomore nickel cornerback Graceson Littleton has been out of the game - without his helmet - on the sideline since late in the first quarter. Bo Mascoe has moved from CB to nickel, and Warren Roberson has come in to replace Mascoe at CB.

Reminder: Our @Horns247 postgame show starts following the final whistle of Texas and Mississippi State with @JasonSuchomel44 and myself. piped.video/watch?v=Ed3hc_C3…
