That's how @Machankura8333 describes Bennu, its new experimental Bitcoin wallet that runs through an end-to-end encrypted group chat. 🔐
A group makes its key in pieces on members' phones. No server or single phone holds the whole key, and a set number of members must agree before any coin moves.
Groups can create subgroups and guard their wallets. Lightning channels use ICEBERG threshold signing, capped at 1 million sats for now.

After Day 1 of @TrezorAcademy Kenya Cohort 8, one participant said they had learned "how I can use Bitcoin on my business." 🇰🇪
35 new participants from @KenyattaUni, @DiscoverJKUAT and @kcauniversity joined the cohort, run by @BitEduhub and hosted by @LindaKariu54810. @Graysatoshi of @BitcoinSafariTZ was among the educators who spoke on self-custody.
By Session 2, they were buying sats with @bitika_KE, spending them with @tando_me and sending sats around the room.

In short:

- demonstrate that Bitcoin is freedom money.
- can produce factories that onboard thousands.
- educate without complexity.
- prove we don't really need stablecoins.
- cut through the crypto hype.
- introduce spending as a gateway to saving.
- demonstrate that Bitcoin is already useful as an MoE.

Seven graduates of @Satsforsafari's online Bitcoin cohorts met in person in Kisumu Ndogo, Kibera, on October 18. Six newcomers hoping to join Cohort 3 came too. 🇰🇪
Founder Susan, a certified @MyFirstBitcoin_ educator, taught both cohorts online. She also leads a three-hour guided walk through Kibera, where visitors pay in sats for tea at a food vendor and airtime or soap at a neighborhood duka.

In my latest for @btcafricastory, I covered how @geyserfund's circular grants fund Bitcoin merchants in Kenya, starting with a Kibera peanut butter business funded entirely by sats that earlier merchants paid forward. 👇

Yummy Tummy started in Kibera, Nairobi, with one small pot of peanut butter. Six years on, a team of two has about 60 orders waiting.
A $250 circular grant from @geyserfund now lets them buy ingredients and packaging in bulk. It's the first grant funded entirely by sats that earlier merchants paid forward, @AfribitKibera founder Ronnie Mdawida said.
Geyser has stopped standard crowdfunding and now focuses on Circular Grants through approved Field Partners like Afribit Kibera and @BitBiashara. These grants carry no interest or fixed repayment; recipients may voluntarily pay forward what they can to support the next business.
Three months in, co-founder @metamick14 reports a 22% voluntary forwarding rate.
