Have you lost a scholarship offer, or even just a spot on a college team next year, due to the new 5-year rule? Be cautious and considerate in how you announce this. Certainly, it's appropriate to indicate your recruitment is reopened. And, it's understandable to want to clarify that it's through no fault of your own. However, "blaming" the coach or school that has released you (even subtly) probably isn't the best approach. Whether you would ever consider that coach/school again in the future or not, you will likely want (or need) to consider other coaches/schools that have taken the same action with former commits. As frustrating and unfair as it may be, demonstrate that you understand it's the reality as you move on to your next opportunity. Keep working hard and there is or will be a place for you!
