Sunny Hostin agrees with Navarro that Stevens supporting Rogers is about her "bruised ego" rather than looking out for her constituents.
Hostin makes it clear she's only interested in Michigan because she wants power for Democrats:
HOSTIN: Yeah, I mean -- You said basically everything I was going to say. I mean, I think, you know, let's be clear, this Michigan Senate seat is extremely important to the Democratic Party taking back the Senate, so that there will be accountability and oversight and, you know, trying to set this country right.
And I think this is very much about Haley Stevens' bruised ego. And her ego should not sort of supersede her country. And that was extremely disappointing to me. Because as you said, she's talking about, it's all about Abdul being an angry person. Well, Rogers accused el-Sayed of being bought off by the Muslim brotherhood with no evidence. J.D. Vance said that el-Sayed harbored anti-white racial hate. And President Trump calls him a jihadist who would need to go through a metal detector if he were able to get into the Senate.
So, if you're talking about hate and anger, you're talking about the Republican Party and the man that you've decided to endorse at the last minute. I really think this was about her bruised ego. And if that's the case, shame on her.
