Ahem.
ALT A photo of a store called "Musicland" which no longer exists. It was a store located in shopping malls and sold music in the form of vinyl records and cassette tapes. A dinosaur on every front.

Then he got an idea. An awful idea. The Grinch got a wonderful, awful idea! It involved bagpipes. And a unicycle. And fire. Oh so much fire! 🔥 #pdx #keepportlandweird #Portland

Thread time. Here's the thing about @tesla. It's not a car company. Tesla is a company that has to make cars in order to sell its real product: Emissions Credits.
Let me explain. Back in 2012, the EPA put out new, strident emissions standards for new vehicles fleetwide. 1/
Community note
Regulatory Credits on account for a small percentage of Tesla Revenue.
2020: 6.2%
2021: 3.2%
2022: 2.7%
As of FY Q3 2022 Credits were only $287m against profits of $3.3b

Every time I open @Twitterrific and refresh I wonder if today will be the day it is cut off. So much good came from this goofy ass website. I'll be sad to see it go, but at this rate it will be tinged with relief it's finally been put out of its misery.
