The War Department is officially launching the Chaplain In-Service Procurement Program.

On Day One, President Trump tasked the Department of War with securing our southern border. We delivered.

The Department of War has zero tolerance for the intentional, unauthorized disclosure of classified information. Anyone who compromises sensitive national security information puts the lives of our Warriors at risk and undermines every military operation that keeps our country safe. Following an extensive Air Force OSI investigation, the Department took necessary personnel action to protect sensitive information. To protect the integrity of the investigation, no further comment will be made regarding the individual or the circumstances of this action. This matter, along with others, have been referred to the Justice Department for potential further legal action. Classified information is not personal property. Leaking it for personal, political or professional gain is a betrayal of the trust placed in those responsible for keeping it. Our commitment was not an empty promise. We vowed to find you, and we meant it.

Today, @SECWAR participated in the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting. He reaffirmed America’s commitment to Peace Through Strength in the Pacific.

Good to see @mindefsg at ADMM-Plus. The United States appreciates Singapore’s clear-eyed realism and commitment to support continued U.S. presence in the Pacific.

I had another meaningful exchange with Minister Giang as we continue to deepen defense cooperation. We are committed to accounting for those still missing, united in honoring the fallen, and steadfast in recognizing the families whose loved ones never returned.

Productive meeting with counterparts from Australia, Japan, and the Philippines. Deterrence is built on real capability and ready partnerships. We are moving beyond words to practical cooperation along the First Island Chain—bolstering readiness to ensure peace through strength.

I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Secretary Teodoro for the sixth time to discuss modernizing alliance C2, security cooperation, and deterrence in the South China Sea. We are accelerating efforts to modernize @TeamAFP and enhance our interoperability along the First Island Chain.

It was an honor to meet today with defense ministers and delegation heads from the 11 ASEAN Member States. The War Department will continue to work with ASEAN partners to ensure a stable and secure region. Thank you to Philippines SND Teodoro for hosting us.

Great meeting with Indian Minister of Defence Singh. We celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Framework for our Major Defense Partnership and explored ways to strengthen cooperation.

Great meeting with ROK Minister of National Defense Kang at ADMM-Plus. The U.S.-ROK Alliance is built on peace through strength—ready forces, decisive capability, and combined lethality that deters aggression. America stands with allies that are serious about their own defense.

It was a pleasure to meet with Australian Deputy Prime Minister Marles. Together, we are optimizing the Alliance to strengthen deterrence and deliver results.

I met with Japan’s Minister of Defense Shinjirō Koizumi @shinjirokoiz to advance our shared vision of peace through strength. Our strategic alignment is essential to building a credible denial defense—supported by increased investment, greater access, more realistic training, and stronger production of the munitions our forces need.

Thanks to President Trump’s historic National Guard deployments, Washington, D.C., and Memphis are SAFER THAN EVER BEFORE.
