First look at our 'discrete' project for @TeddingtonCC in Bushy Park. We managed to get a few shots in between lockdowns.
Reed Watts has created a timber clubhouse for an amateur cricket team in London's Bushy Park that is designed to be both modern and familiar: at.dezeen.com/3fquOGs

Our lockdown has given us a new perspective on where and how we live, work, love and laugh. The objects around us have taken on new meanings and will come to represent this period when we look back. We'll be submitting our lockdown objects to #TheMuseumOfNow
Today #TheMuseumOfNow, a virtual museum dedicated to telling the story of your lockdown goes live. Send your items and their stories for inclusion - anything goes, big or small, physical or sensory. More info at themuseumofnow.org @communitybrain supported by @ace_national

Thank you to our friends @CommonwealTweet who have published valuable feedback on our sleeping pods.
Today we're pleased to share an Evaluation Report Summary of our innovative Pods, by @LeilaRBaker.
Find out what we learned from piloting these flat-pack temporary accommodation structures in London - and how you could use the Pods in your own shelter 👇

A nice way to end the year with our Commonweal Pods long-listed for this year's MacEwen Award. The demountable pods were developed with @CommonwealTweet to provide privacy and dignity for rough sleepers staying in night shelters @RIBAJ #ribajmacewen ribaj.com/macewen/2020-macew…

The design for the pods is available for charities to use free of charge. We've teamed up with @Housing_Justice and provide cutting templates for all the components (for #cnc milling) and full assembly instructions.

It's been great fun working on this project, and great to see everyone putting community, affordability and sustainability at the top of the agenda. #ukhousing

Thanks for coming Robin. Great to have your input - as always.
Brilliant to see proposals by Unit 5 @KU_Arch_Land for a new nature hide in Tolworth with @CitizenZoo. Look forward to seeing this built early next year. @LordScroley @communitybrain @takeshihayatsu @stickandbrick @ReedWattsArch @KingstonUni @RBKingston #Tolworth #TolworthMatters

Great report - putting the case for Community Lead Housing. Its focus is London, but the benefits aren't limited to the capital. Our schemes in the south-west with @WessexCLT @Development_UC show how communities can help address the needs that aren't addressed by developers
LAUNCHED! @futureofldn has partnered w/ Commonweal to publish report challenging assumptions of mainstream dev’t & highlighting potential for community-led housing to engage local ppl in building #affordablehomes & rebuilding #trust. #CLHLondon. Download: bit.ly/2LgjMFV

Wednesday, is today the day you can help? Remember just a £1 can help us get our Farm of Futures off grid so we can support more community projects. Just £1 or more from you can make the difference to us getting £5000 extra from M&S for our Crowdfunding. crowdfunder.co.uk/the-farm-o…

Our cities can do more to give #shelter. Our existing buildings can work harder by supporting extra accommodation-through both temporary and permanent additions. Lightweight rooftop extensions provide a low-carbon answer.
“I like the duality of the summer use, a rooftop bar & then the change into its winter iteration of a hostel for the homeless. The programme is really good” said judging panel chair Jan Carlos Kucharek on @ReedWattsArch winning design. #riba #architect

See proposals for our new Visitor Reception and shop for the @nationaltrust @NTIghthamMote at Ightham Mote. It's been a fantastic experience getting to know this beautiful house and its surroundings.
As the 700th anniversary of Ightham Mote approaches, we have been working hard on some exciting new plans to take this special place well into the future. See the proposals on display now at the Mote Café bit.ly/2kVrqM2

We're working to make the building as environmentally friendly as possible. It's designed to minimise the use of artificial light and to be entirely passively ventilated. Heating will fed by a ground-source heat pump to further reduce our carbon emissions. #lowcarbon
