I recently visited @BWXT to see firsthand how they’re supporting critical missions across the United States, including Project Pele—a deployable nuclear microreactor. The nuclear renaissance is here thanks to President Trump and it’s incredible to see the work being done to help make this a reality.

Under the last administration, billions of dollars went out the door at @ENERGY. We couldn’t find a SINGLE evaluation of cost impact. Money flowed to companies decarbonizing mac and cheese—not to projects lowering costs for Americans or improving grid reliability. Thanks to @POTUS, that has ended.

States with commonsense energy policies, like Texas, draw jobs and capital, boost wages, and improve lives. That’s the Trump administration’s goal. States rejecting commonsense energy policies, like California, push jobs overseas, weaken businesses and raise energy prices.

Bernie, slogans don’t save lives. Energy does. There’s a reason it’s harder to cool a home in socialist countries that embrace climate alarmism. If you genuinely care about weather-related deaths, stop attacking the affordable, reliable energy that powers air conditioning.

In Virginia, we announced up to $50 million to upgrade existing transmission lines so they can deliver more electricity. The goal is simple—strengthen grid reliability, lower energy prices, and create more opportunities for jobs and growth. That’s commonsense energy policy.

After 17 years of Democrat leaders enacting energy subtraction policies that led to the closure of refineries and more expensive refined oil products, the Trump Administration is taking action to expand our nation’s refining capacity and strengthen our energy security. Thanks to President Trump, America is producing more oil and gas than ever before and thanks to President Trump, we will soon be producing more refined products as well. These Defense Production Act funds will be used strategically and in partnership with private industry to rapidly bolster America’s existing energy infrastructure. By restoring energy addition policies, we will continue to unleash American energy dominance and lower costs for the American people.

The Trump administration's goal is to lean in on all 50 states to increase energy production and lower costs. We are focused on allocating funds with an emphasis on common sense—making the electrical grid more resilient.
