The spiritual ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ sequel ‘Shock Treatment’ (aka ‘Rubber Room’) starring Jessica Harper, Cliff DeYoung, Patricia Quinn, Richard O’Brien, Charles Gray, Ruby Wax, and Rik Myall opened in select theaters on the midnight movie circuit in North America on this day 45 years ago (Oct 30 1981) 📺 🎶 🏥

"𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝙷𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚗'𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚌, 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚕. 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚕𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚟𝚘𝚒𝚌𝚎𝚜 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙳𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚕 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚛𝚘𝚌𝚔 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕!"

TRIVIA: One working idea for 'Shock Treatment' - back when it was titled 'Rocky Horror Shows His Heels' - was that Frank-N-Furter was going to come back from the dead and travel to Denton to find out Janet was pregnant with his child. Brad and Dr. Scott were supposed to have become lovers, and discovered a way to revive Frank using virgin blood. When he returns to Denton, Frank attempts to convert the entire town into a new cult of Transylvanians, and Riff Raff and Magenta were to return to kidnap the child and destroy Frank once more. The idea was dropped when Tim Curry declined to participate. (IMDB) 🖤

The slasher sequel ‘Halloween II’ starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence, Charles Cyphers, Lance Guest, Nancy Stephens, Leo Rossi, and, VERY briefly, Dana Carvey sliced up moviegoers on this day 45 years ago (October 30 1981) 💉🏥🔪

"𝙸 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚝 𝚑𝚒𝚖 𝚜𝚒𝚡 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚜! 𝙸 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚝 𝚑𝚒𝚖 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚝, 𝚋𝚞𝚝... 𝚑𝚎'𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚑𝚞𝚖𝚊𝚗!"

TRIVIA: John Carpenter and Debra Hill originally considered setting ‘Halloween II’ a few years after the events of ‘Halloween’. They planned to have Michael Myers track Laurie Strode to her new home in a high-rise apartment building. However, the location and timeline were changed to Haddonfield Hospital and moments after the cliffhanger ending of the first film took place on in script meetings. (Wikipedia) 🖤

RIP Sir Patrick Stewart, he was originally the narrator for Nightmare Before Christmas but the makers decided to go in a different direction but Danny Elfman loved Stewart's narration so much that it was included on the soundtrack. Here's Stewart's closing narration:

The dark fantasy drama series ‘Grimm’ starring David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, and Bree Turner premiered on NBC fifteen years ago this week (October 2011) 📺🐺🚨

TRIVIA: Whenever a 'Grimm' episode includes a room number (hotel room, hospital ward, etc) or address, the number is the combination of the number of the season and of the episode. For example, the hotel room of Adalind was shown first in season 2 in episode 12, and the room number was 212. (IMDB) 🖤
