We already knew the #3DPrinting stewards at Nova Labs were full of knowledge. Now they have a title to prove it! @nova_labs are the champions of the first Ultimate Additive Quiz Show held at 3DPrintopia! Congratulations!
If you aren't familiar with the Ultimate Additive Quiz Show, teams of four put their 3D printing knowledge to the test while raising money for the @The_SMF_ . All proceeds from the Quiz Show help provide opportunities, equipment, training, and mentorship for neurodivergent young people interested in engineering and technology.
A HUGE thank you to all our competitors, @LDOmotors for supplying prizes, @Polymaker_3D for providing filament to all participants, and, of course, to Joel Telling and David Tobin from @3dprintingnerd for putting together a fantastic show!

Even though the 7th Running of the 3D Printed Derby moved to Philadelphia, there were some familiar faces on the podium. Steve Davidson has had consistent success in the races over the years. However, this may be the first year where he won both the Stock class and the Creatively Fast class.
Attendees voted on their favorite Concours/Show car design. This year, by far, they picked another design from the Kay family! The winning design was based off of a real bed from home. It was full of neat details like buttons as wheels and even included a small version of the family's other derby car in the design. It is no wonder this entry got more than twice the votes of the nearest competitor!
As always, the trophies were made by the talented Cole Hastings Goldstein. We also want to give a big thanks to @ScoutingPhilly for organizing the races.

Sounds like some good memories are made!!!
@3DPrintopia Was a blast! I'll post some pictures up later but wanted to make a special post to Sydney here and her father for allowing her to race as they were about to leave!
I asked them if she would be allowed to enter the deathracer battle and use one of our racers. She had a lot of fun and did really well actually! And another thanks to Dad for allowing the post!
