The 2025 Montgomery duo of 6-2 G Xair Mendez and 6-5 F JJ Sanchez led a furious comeback to give their team a 111-107 win in the Creme de la Creme game after trailing by 22.
Mendez’s defense and shotmaking and Sanchez’s scoring and playmaking were impressive.

The biggest surprise of the event was 6-7 2026 W Tim Dorn (Mira Mesa), whose family just arrived to SD after a naval tour in Hawaii.
