A 95% submission rate made the Kochi edition our strongest Startup Weekend yet on that metric, but the number we’ll remember isn’t just 77. It’s what those 77 builds represented. We'll remember first-time builders taking ideas seriously and students building through 20 hours straight. We'll remember agentic builds, voice-first and WhatsApp-first products, native language (Malayalam) focus, and deeply local problems meeting global ambition. We'll also remember that 86% of teams built from scratch and 75% said they’re now likely to start up. That’s the kind of momentum we came to Kochi hoping to create. But none of it happens without an ecosystem willing to show up around builders. So here's a HUGE shoutout to our people. 🙏 Our deepest thanks to every jury member, mentor, speaker, partner, volunteer, and builder who gave their time, judgment, experience, energy, and belief to the room. 🤝 Community Partner: @TinkerHub | @startup_mission | @Neysa_ai | @SerpApi This was AIBoomi Startup Weekend | Kochi 2026 presented by @gohighlevel. Let’s keep building. 💚 #Kochi #Startup #AI

“Neki kar, dariya mein daal.” Do a good deed and cast it in the river. At @AIBoomi, that spirit has long lived through our running #PayItFWD series. But over time, I’ve also wanted to create space for another kind of story. One about the people who don’t just support us from the sidelines, but quietly build alongside us. I’m calling it #BuiltAlongside, and I want to tell these stories here, in the way this platform allows me to. And I couldn’t think of a better person to begin with than Klaas Oskam. Not long ago, my colleague Keerthi Madhu and I visited @KlaasOskam and Nishant Malhotra at the DC Advisory office in Bengaluru. We arrived a little early, and while waiting, I found myself browsing their library. One book stopped me. It was a NASSCOM publication from nearly 20 years ago, featuring 100 of India’s best IT innovators. I had curated that book. My name, however, was nowhere on it. When I mentioned this to Klaas, he simply said, “You need to take the book, Avi.” I refused. It felt like an artefact that belonged exactly where it was, on a shelf documenting how far India’s technology ecosystem had come. That moment stayed with me. Klaas has watched that journey up close too. He has lived and worked in India since the mid-2000s, and over the years has developed a rare vantage point on Indian founders: how the world sees them, and how they see themselves. Later in the meeting, we asked a fairly standard question: “What kind of value have you derived from this relationship?” Klaas looked genuinely puzzled. “We don’t look at our relationship with AIBoomi transactionally. It’s about supporting entrepreneurship. Do what you’re doing, and we’ll derive value.” That answer said everything. No ask. No scorecard. No attempt to measure the relationship in immediate returns. Just trust. We walked out reminded that partnerships like these come with a responsibility too: to keep earning that trust, and to keep doing work worthy of the people who choose to build alongside us. Klaas, we’re privileged to count you among our champions. With great trust comes great responsibility. :)

Some AI products begin with a model, while others begin with a question that needs an answer from the real world. Enter: @SerpApi. 😎 SerpApi helps developers turn live search data into something AI products can actually use. Fresh information, structured cleanly, ready to build with. That makes them a natural fit for AIBoomi Startup Weekend | Kochi. Because in a 20-hour build sprint, the right tools don’t just save time. They expand what’s possible. So if you’re building an AI product that needs to search, discover, understand, or act on what’s happening in the world, this room is for you. A big 💚 to SerpApi for helping builders spend less time wrestling with access and more time building what comes next. #Kochi #Startup #AI

The tea master at Nimrah Cafe near Charminar has probably brewed more cups of Irani chai than we’ve seen product demos. So we asked him what makes the perfect cup. Well, we didn't. But we'd like to believe he'd say it's about getting the blend right, one cup at a time. Turns out, building a product isn't all that different. Sometimes, you're so close to what you're making that you stop noticing what's missing. That's when a fresh pair of eyes, a few uncomfortable questions, and some honest feedback can make all the difference. That's precisely why we keep bringing the AIBoomi Demo Room back to Hyderabad. We're back for another edition, with Anand Prabhala returning as our mentor. And we'd love to see what you've been brewing. :) 🍵 Apply: luma.com/x4vyrp70 #AI #Startup #Hyderabad

{1/3} it’s been over two weeks since I returned to India from my first US trip. i was volunteering for @AIBoomi's immersion week for eight healthcare AI startups from India. now, I’m finally putting some of what I learned into words. one of my first lessons from Vertical Velocity '26 came from the very first session on day one of the immersion. in Menlo Park, Indus Khaitan (@1ndus) asked us to note down what we knew about him on a post-it note. most of us missed that he had invested in Practo. he said to the founders that he would have offered an introduction if someone had mentioned it. it made me realise that all of us, founders and volunteers alike, needed to arrive having done our homework: understand the speaker’s experience, know where it connects to our work, and bring specific questions. and this is very much applicable in our day-to-day work, especially if we are in a people-facing role. → throughout the week several speakers pushed founders to spend time in the US if that was their market. being close to customers helps you understand things a call can miss. → and when a customer says your product is bad, you should ask “tell me more” before promising to fix it. first understand what isn’t working. → “investors invest in lines, not dots”. start talking to them six months before you raise, then close the round in a couple of weeks. i came back thinking differently about the meetings I take and the questions I bring to them. over this week, i’ll share a few more moments from Vertical Velocity '26 that changed how I think about building. stay tuned!

Built around helping teams move AI from prototype to production with the compute, platform, and operational control they need, @Neysa_ai shares a belief that sits very close to what AIBoomi Startup Weekend is trying to enable: give builders fewer reasons to stop, and more reasons to keep going. 💪 Since the inaugural edition, they’ve consistently shown up for builders with the same conviction: back people early, give them access to the right infrastructure, and help ambitious ideas travel further. Which is why we’re thrilled to have Neysa continue that journey with us at AIBoomi Startup Weekend | Kochi. For a room full of AI-first builders spending 20 hours turning ideas into working MVPs, having Community Partner that thinks deeply about what happens after the prototype feels like a natural fit. So if you’re still at that first messy version, still experimenting, still trying to see if the idea has legs, this is your jam. Registrations are open 👉 luma.com/StartupWeekendKochi A big 💚 to Neysa for backing builders from day one. #Kochi #Startup #AI

Ideas are fragile in the beginning. They need room, people, and someone to say, “keep going.” 💌 That’s what @startup_mission has been doing for years across Kerala’s startup ecosystem. From helping first-time founders find their footing to giving growing startups access to infrastructure, mentors, markets, and capital, KSUM has built one of those rare bridges between ambition and opportunity. Which is exactly why having them as a Community Partner for AIBoomi Startup Weekend | Kochi feels so natural. Startup Weekend is about the first 20 hours. The messy idea, the first prototype, the first real feedback, and that moment when someone realises, “maybe this could actually become something. And ecosystems like KSUM make sure that moment doesn’t have to end when the weekend does. If you’re an AI-first builder in Kerala sitting on an idea, this is your room. Registrations are open 👉 luma.com/StartupWeekendKochi A big 💚 to Kerala Startup Mission for helping us connect this weekend to the larger founder journey. #Kochi #Startup #AI

Before someone becomes a founder, they usually become something simpler first: a maker. ✨ Someone curious enough to take things apart, stubborn enough to put them back together, and generous enough to help the next person figure it out too. That’s why having @TinkerHub as a Community Partner for AIBoomi Startup Weekend | Kochi feels less like a partnership and more like a meeting of minds. For years, TinkerHub has been nurturing young builders across Kerala through hands-on learning, experimentation, peer communities, and a culture of paying it forward. That last part matters deeply to us because AIBoomi was built on the same belief. The best ecosystems don’t just create successful people. They create people who turn around and make the path easier for whoever comes next. So if you’re one of those AI-first builders still figuring things out, still experimenting, still curious enough to start, this room is for you. Registrations are open 👉 lnkd.in/gbtvwv75 A big 💚 to TinkerHub for helping us take this spirit to more builders across Kerala. #Kochi #Startup #AI

#160: #AIRadarDaily — @bolna_dev Talk to any high-volume recruiter at a fast-growing startup, and you will hear the exact same story of burnout. They spend their days tethered to a phone, asking the same screening questions to dozens of candidates, barely taking a lunch break, and still feeling completely behind schedule. Hiring remains a massive bottleneck for scaling companies, not because there is a lack of talent, but because the human effort required to simply screen applicants is exhausting and unscalable. We want our talent acquisition teams building relationships and closing top-tier candidates, yet we force them to act as human routing machines. It was this exact realization that led Maitreya Wagh (@maitreya_wagh) and Prateek Sachan (@xan_ps) to rethink how businesses handle conversations. Founded in 2024, Bolna, is building the underlying infrastructure to deploy deeply intelligent, human-sounding voice AI agents that fundamentally change how companies hire and interact. Bolna operates as an end-to-end, open-source orchestration framework designed to quickly build LLM-based voice applications. Instead of struggling with fragmented APIs, developers can use Bolna to seamlessly orchestrate complex conversations by combining Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) providers over WebSockets. They have conquered the brutal physics of voice — handling the critical latency, voice quality, and mid-sentence interruptions that typically break AI callers. For non-technical teams, Bolna features a "Prompt Auto-Generator" that instantly ingests past call data, FAQs, and CRM context to autonomously build and deploy an intelligent agent in minutes. The true moat here is the marriage of open-source flexibility with enterprise-grade reliability. Bolna abstracts away the paralyzing complexity of integrating telephony providers like Twilio or Plivo with cutting-edge synthesis models from providers like ElevenLabs or Deepgram. By acting as the definitive plumbing for voice AI, they allow companies to instantly deploy agents that screen candidates in real-time, handle objections, and provide structured feedback, effectively replacing hours of manual screening. The market? Fast-growing tech startups, remote-first teams, recruitment agencies, and customer-facing businesses that desperately need to scale their voice operations without burning out their human workforce. Seeing founders tackle the deeply personal pain points of hiring and customer support by democratizing elite voice infrastructure is profoundly inspiring. They are giving recruiters their time and their sanity back. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #VoiceAI #FutureOfWork #ProductNation

#159: #AIRadarDaily — @scalekitinc When a company onboards a new employee, IT doesn't just hand them the master passwords to the production database. Access is carefully provisioned, roles are defined, and every action is logged. Yet, as the software world races to integrate autonomous AI agents: bots designed to read emails, modify CRMs, and execute workflows on our behalf, we are systematically bypassing decades of enterprise security. Developers building AI apps are often forced to choose between crippling their agents with constant permission prompts or recklessly granting them long-lived, unrestricted access tokens. If an agent hallucinates and alters a critical contract, security teams are left blind, unable to trace the machine's action back to the human who initiated it. This invisible crisis of machine identity is exactly what Satya Devarakonda (@satyapd) and Ravi Madabhushi (@ravibits) are solving with Scalekit. Founded in 2023, the team is architecting the foundational authentication and authorization stack for the agentic era, seamlessly unifying human and AI access into a single, cohesive platform. Scalekit handles the grueling, table-stakes requirements of enterprise identity — delivering SSO, SCIM provisioning, and complex Role-Based Access Control out of the box. But its true brilliance lies in how it governs AI. Instead of allowing an agent to inherit broad, permanent human permissions, Scalekit issues ephemeral, time-bound credentials strictly scoped to the immediate task. Every single autonomous action is mapped directly back to the user and organizational context, maintaining an irrefutable, audit-ready trail of accountability. The true moat here is radical developer velocity paired with zero-trust security. Scalekit understands that AI startups cannot afford to spend months building custom enterprise auth just to pass a Fortune 500 security review. By providing a ready-made identity layer and a self-serve admin portal, it completely neutralizes the security blast radius of AI agents. The platform shifts the paradigm from viewing AI as a compliance nightmare to deploying verifiable, secure autonomous workflows. The market? B2B SaaS founders, AI developers, and enterprise IT teams who need to unleash the power of agentic AI without compromising their corporate security posture. Seeing builders architect the critical trust layer that will safely unlock the autonomous enterprise is profoundly inspiring. They are giving AI developers their speed and CISOs their sleep back. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #AI #Cybersecurity #ProductNation

#158: #AIRadarDaily — @TeleCMI When a business scales rapidly, its communication infrastructure is usually the first thing to break. Fast-growing sales and support teams often find themselves wrestling with a fragmented mess of legacy phone systems, rigid hardware PBXs, and dropped connections that make remote work nearly impossible. Managers are left flying blind, forced to manually listen to a tiny fraction of recorded calls while massive amounts of customer intelligence slip through the cracks. It takes builders with a deep empathy for enterprise operations and the technical rigor to untangle global telecom complexity to solve this at the root. That is exactly what Prabhu Dhanuskodi and Murugan Pandian are doing with TeleCMI. Founded in 2016, the Chennai-based team is building a deeply intelligent, AI-native cloud telephony platform that fundamentally modernizes how enterprises converse with the world. TeleCMI completely replaces rigid hardware with a unified cloud communication suite, seamlessly weaving voice, SMS, and WhatsApp into over 120 existing tools like Zoho, HubSpot, and Freshworks. But it goes far beyond just routing calls. The platform deploys sophisticated Voice AI agents to handle routine support and follow-ups 24/7 across multiple regional languages. For complex issues, it routes the caller to a human, equipping the agent with real-time AI guidance mid-conversation. The moment the call ends, the system autonomously analyzes the audio to extract sentiment, generate summaries, and assign QA scores. The true moat here is uncompromising reliability paired with instant intelligence. TeleCMI abstracts away the administrative nightmare of managing international numbers, carrier interconnects, and disjointed analytics across distributed teams. It shifts the paradigm from struggling with broken legacy networks to running a frictionless, intelligent voice engine that actually learns from every conversation. The market? High-velocity sales floors, scaling support centers, and global enterprises that need to elevate their customer experience without linearly scaling their headcount. Seeing homegrown founders quietly architecting the heavy-duty infrastructure that powers billions of seamless business conversations is profoundly inspiring. They are giving contact centers their visibility and customers their voice back. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #CloudTelephony #EnterpriseAI #ProductNation

#157: #AIRadarDaily — @actioneerhq For years, enterprise leaders have been promised an AI revolution. You walk into a boardroom at a major bank or a healthcare network, and everyone is enthusiastically discussing "agentic workflows" and "generative AI". But the reality on the ground is far less glamorous. When a financial institution actually tries to deploy these models into their core operations — say, to automate branch-level P&L analytics or trigger cross-sell campaigns for mutual funds — they hit a massive wall of compliance, fragmented data silos, and strict audit requirements. It takes builders with profound technical pragmatism to bypass the hype and build the unglamorous, heavy-lifting infrastructure that actually gets AI into enterprise production. That is exactly what Sashank Vandrangi (@sashank_v) and Vivek Ramachandran (@vivekr94) are doing with Actioneer. Founded in 2025, Actioneer is building a deeply intelligent, enterprise agentic AI platform built specifically for the stringent realities of Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), fintech, healthcare, and retail. Instead of handing an enterprise a generic tool and hoping their internal team can figure it out, Actioneer integrates directly into the client's existing data stack to build a shared, governed context layer. For highly regulated environments like Indian banks and NBFCs, they deploy a strict read-only AI architecture. This ensures that when an autonomous agent is fetching data or interacting with a customer, it strictly adheres to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) audit trail rules, operating safely without ever risking unauthorized data modifications. The true moat here is uncompromising governance paired with measurable business outcomes. Actioneer realizes that in the enterprise, an AI agent is useless if it cannot be audited. By handling the end-to-end implementation and abstracting away the paralyzing fear of compliance breaches, they allow massive institutions to deploy autonomous agents that actually execute — whether that is running complex branch analytics, cross-sell nudge systems for mutual funds, or orchestrating customer journeys across voice, SMS, and chat. It shifts the paradigm from endless AI pilots to deterministic, deployed intelligence. The market? Business leaders at mid-to-large enterprises with 200 or more employees across BFSI, healthcare, and retail who are ready to turn their fragmented data into automated outcomes. Watching founders with deep technical pragmatism build the trusted context layer that finally brings true agentic AI into the heart of the regulated enterprise is profoundly inspiring. They are giving large institutions their agility and their confidence back. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #EnterpriseAI #AgenticAI #ProductNation

#156: #AIRadarDaily — Rezolv AI When a financial institution issues a loan, the disbursement is celebrated as growth. But the actual business of lending, getting that money back, is where the modern financial system often breaks down into brute force. For decades, debt collection has been a notoriously unglamorous, highly fragmented operation. Call centers blast thousands of numbers blindly, field executives are sent into neighborhoods with outdated spreadsheets, and borrowers facing genuine financial stress are met with rigid, high-friction processes in languages they aren't comfortable speaking. It takes seasoned founders who have lived in the trenches of Indian consumer credit to recognize that debt recovery isn’t a muscle problem, it is a deeply complex data and empathy problem. That is exactly what Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal are solving with Rezolv AI. Founded in 2024, the former Kissht co-founders are building a deeply intelligent, AI-native collections operating system that manages the entire lifecycle of debt from a gentle pre-delinquency nudge to late-stage field recovery. Rezolv deploys highly advanced AI voice agents capable of conducting flowing, real-time conversations across 11 Indian languages. Instead of forcing borrowers through a rigid menu, the AI captures intent, logs promises to pay, and gracefully handles mid-sentence interruptions. Beyond voice, the platform orchestrates the entire physical and digital recovery operation. It autonomously segments borrower risk, routes personalized omnichannel reminders, allocates GPS-optimized paths to field agents, and runs automated compliance audits on every single interaction to ensure regulatory safety. The true moat here is uncompromising visibility paired with dignified scale. By unifying in-house teams, outsourced agencies, and AI agents onto a single dashboard, Rezolv AI eliminates the blind spots that traditionally plague lenders. It completely abstracts away the administrative chaos of manual disposition logging and skip tracing. It shifts the paradigm of collections from a spray-and-pray harassment model to a deterministic, deeply personalized recovery engine. The market? Banks, NBFCs, and massive lending institutions who desperately need to maximize their recovery rates and ensure ironclad compliance, without endlessly scaling their call center headcount. Watching proven operators return to tackle the most structurally difficult, overlooked segment of the financial ecosystem is a masterclass in builder resilience. They are giving lenders their capital efficiency and borrowers a far more dignified path to resolution. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #Fintech #DebtRecovery #ProductNation

A model can ace a demo on Monday and still fail a customer on Tuesday. If you’re building vertical AI, you know how much work lives between those two moments. Understanding the customer’s workflow. Giving the model the right context and tools. Catching the failures a polished demo never shows. And just when you’ve figured some of it out, a better model arrives. What do you keep? What do you rebuild? What can you finally remove? These are the questions behind the first playbook from The Working Knowledge, a new technical publication from @Seed2Scale by @AccelIndia. Written by @atemyipod, its first-ever edition offers a practical way to build the system around a model, test whether it helps, and make the result reliable enough for real customers. The kind of read we’d bring into a room of founders and ask: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘆? Uncover the playbook, then bring the question back to your team: seedtoscale.com/the-working-…

#155: #AIRadarDaily — @getadoptai Every month, brilliant financial controllers and CPAs effectively turn into human data-routers. The moment the month ends, the entire finance department halts its strategic work and begins a grueling, weeks-long archeological dig into sprawling spreadsheets, mismatched invoices, and clunky bank portals. They hunt down missing receipts, manually match thousands of rows of transactions, and badger department heads just to reconcile the books. We hire the smartest financial minds to help model the future of the business, but we chain them to the past. It takes builders who have experienced the friction of scaling enterprise operations and the technical depth to bridge production AI research with real-world financial execution to see this as a problem of autonomous execution, not just software. That is precisely what Deepak Anchala (@Deepak_anchala), Rahul Bhattacharya, and Anirudh Badam (@AniBadam) are doing with Adopt AI. Founded in 2024, the team is building a deeply intelligent, agentic accounting platform that actually executes the work. Adopt AI deploys specialized AI agents that integrate directly into your existing financial stack — your ERP, your billing systems, and even bank portals with no APIs. Instead of waiting for a human to initiate a workflow, the agents autonomously extract invoice data, match purchase orders, execute complex account reconciliations, and draft the variance reports. They do the brutal, unglamorous work of pulling bank statements and populating tax workpapers. But crucially, they don't replace the human accountant; they prepare the books end-to-end so that your finance team simply reviews the exceptions and signs off on the final, finished numbers. The true moat here is an uncompromising commitment to auditable execution. In accounting, "trust me" isn't a feature; it's a massive liability. Adopt AI ensures every single AI action is time-stamped into an immutable audit trail, linking every matched figure back to its exact source document. The models write the logic to reconcile the accounts, but anything below a strict confidence threshold is instantly routed to a human reviewer. By completely abstracting away the soul-crushing busywork of data entry, it compresses weeks of manual preparation into mere hours of high-leverage review. The market? High-growth startups, enterprise finance departments, and forward-thinking CPA firms who desperately need to scale their financial capacity and maintain perfectly accurate books without linearly scaling their headcount. Seeing founders of this caliber head-down, tackling the most stubborn productivity bottlenecks in finance and fundamentally changing what an accountant’s day looks like, is profoundly inspiring. They are giving finance teams their strategic bandwidth and their weekends back. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #Fintech #AgenticAI #ProductNation

#154: #AIRadarDaily — @MeltPlanAI Every great skyline starts with a mountain of paperwork. Long before the first excavator hits the dirt, massive commercial projects live or die in "pre-construction" — a chaotic, high-stakes phase of dense codebooks, endless 2D plans, and clash detection where estimators try to predict the future using spreadsheets. An estimator missing a single clause in a local building code or slightly miscalculating a material takeoff can completely evaporate a contractor's profit margin months down the line. Despite building the physical world around us, the construction industry’s productivity has been notoriously flat for decades, largely because the very people planning these multi-million dollar projects are suffocating under manual data extraction. It takes builders with a profound understanding of complex data systems to look at this pre-construction chaos and recognize it as an intelligence problem waiting to be solved. That is precisely what Kanav Hasija (@HasijaKanav) and Tanmaya Kala (@TanmayaKala) are doing with Meltplan. Founded in 2025, the Berkeley-based team is building a deeply intelligent, construction-aware AI platform that completely transforms the slowest, most vulnerable phase of any building project. Meltplan is fundamentally trained on municipal codebooks, architectural specs, intricate drawings, and real-world project data. It functions as an expert AI code consultant that delivers instant, fully-cited answers to complex regulatory questions. Alongside this, it generates highly precise AI material takeoffs from 2D and 3D plans that estimators simply review and approve. Instead of spending weeks manually counting materials and hunting for design clashes, pre-construction teams can collaborate seamlessly in a unified environment. The true moat here is uncompromising domain awareness paired with radical time-savings. Meltplan respects that in construction, an AI hallucination isn't just an annoyance; it is a financial liability. By anchoring every single insight in verifiable citations and real project data, they replace the grueling, error-prone manual estimation process with deterministic accuracy. It shifts the paradigm from hoping your margins hold up, to planning with absolute, data-backed confidence. The market? General contractors, architects, specialty trades, and project owners who desperately need to compress their pre-construction timelines and protect their budgets before the first shovel ever hits the ground. Seeing founders head-down, tackling the most stubborn productivity bottlenecks in the largest industry in the world, is profoundly inspiring. They are giving estimators their time and contractors their profit margins back. Let's celebrate the builders. ✍️ @jaybharatingle #AI #ConstructionTech #ProductNation
