Truth. It doesn’t make sense but it is by design. Billionaires are a central part of our economic crisis for most people living in the US. nitter.siddz.com/saylordocs/status/2052…

Of course we shouldn’t be surprised bc what else would we expect from this administration except blatant lawlessness and corruption. And yet it still guts me that we live in a day and age where judicial nominees refuse to defend the constitution. 😡🤬😡
JUST IN: A Trump judicial nominee was asked point blank: is Trump eligible to run for a third term? Their answer: “I would have to review the actual wording…” Sen. Chris Coons then asked every nominee in the room to confirm the Constitution bars a third term. Silence. Every single one of them refused to say it. Trump is appointing judges who won’t affirm the 22nd Amendment to his face. Never stop connecting the dots.

The Food Safety & Chemical Disclosure Act has passed the NY Legislature! If signed, it will close the "secret GRAS" loophole letting food companies hide harmful chemicals — and ban Red Dye 3, potassium bromate & propylparaben from food sold in NY.

We have got to do better than this. We need S9589 (Senator @RiveraSena63774 & Assemblymember @AmyPaulin) to protect New Yorkers who lose their health insurance because of changes under H.R. 1 by making sure they continue to be covered by NYS once federal policy cuts them off.
New Yorkers impacted by Essential Plan changes—including 450,000 who will lose coverage in July—are about to receive this confusing letter. “No action needed” can mean the state is moving you to another plan, or you’re on your own. We need S9589 to keep New Yorkers insured!

This is a a common sense piece of legislation that both ensures strong environmental protections and protects and promotes the development of much needed affordable and working family housing for New Yorkers #affordableNY nyassembly.gov/leg/?default_…
As a solution to SEQR being used as a tool to block the building of much-needed housing in New York, Senator @RachelMayNY & Assemblymember @AMKelles proposed the Sustainable Affordable Housing and Sprawl Prevention Act. Deep gratitude to @NewYorkStateAG Letitia James for defending SNAP and the millions of families who rely on it. This ruling is a victory for justice, dignity, and food security! No family should go hungry because of politics. #SNAP #FoodJustice #NYPol
In a major victory, a court ruled the Trump administration must use emergency funds to provide food stamps to Americans.   No one should choose between paying bills and buying groceries.   We'll continue our lawsuit to fight for our families and the services they deserve.

I stand with @NewYorkStateAG Letitia James, an unwavering defender of truth and justice. The federal administration’s attempt to weaponize the courts to protect a convicted felon is a transparent political stunt. The rule of law must never be twisted into a tool of retribution.

This isn’t about me. It’s about all of us. It’s about a justice system which has been weaponized. A justice system which has been used as a tool of revenge. My faith is strong. I have belief in the justice system and the rule of law.

This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system. I am not fearful — I am fearless. We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights.

Thank you, @SenatorLeaWebb and @AMKelles, for your leadership in urging @GovKathyHochul to reject any more dangerous, expensive fracked gas pipelines in New York. They’re damaging to our air and water, dangerous to our health, and will hit us all in the wallets.

Crypto miners are driving up electricity costs while providing nothing of value to the state or local communities. My bill w/@AMKelles will ensure they pay their fair share of the costs they create, while helping regular New Yorkers pay the bills. More: nysenate.gov/newsroom/press-…

As @StirpeAl writes EmPower+ is “a tool to protect vulnerable NYers from dangerous weather and unsafe homes, while creating new clean energy jobs in vulnerable communities.” We can’t allow for this energy efficiency program to be cut. Read more: syracuse.com/opinion/2025/09…

Thank you for uplifting @EmilyAssembly! an obvious step to protect our farmers, environment, & our health. We shouldn’t be using PFAS-filled waste on our farmland. We KNOW they are directly linked to cancer, liver damage, thyroid & reproductive dysfunction etc… bill A6192! #NCEL
Maine has banned biosolids (read… sludge! Which means… 💩) on farmland because it is so terribly contaminated with PFAS which gets into the drinking water. @AMKelles has a great bill about this in NY and i hope we have the political will to pass it this year.
