Am I stupid or does he admit to taking threats on his life from DMs and while in Tennessee and project them entirely onto the university of utah? You dragged them through the mud and this was your big evidence reveal?
It’s been a fun October.. excited to get to Halloween. Here’s a couple fun screenshots from this month. I don’t know if Karey from Derry is real or not but, the picture on the left is from a very real man in Ohio. I’ve stayed away from my mentions and DM’s this month since these back to back days but.. I’m sure if I went in there now, I’d find some wishes for and threats of death for me. “Don’t read them.” They’re everywhere. Annnd.. They still exist though right? I just don’t know the person is in Ohio then? That’s where I’m at now. So I do get a bit fucked up when a couple days after The New York Times releases a “WE ARE ALLOWED TO AND SHOULD HATE THIS GUY” piece, a University puts a video out from their own page, indicating “we think he’s a corny creep here.” It’s a weird time. The things that get said about what my daughter and son and wife deserve are all rather wild as well. I haven’t talked to anybody about what the days were like leading up to Tennessee’s GameDay last year. There’s been some misreporting but in the ball park articles. Everybody in the “security” world was worried of a copycat incident potentially happening. GameDay was a few days out and we were the next huge gathering on a campus. The world, in front of the entire internet, just proved that we had gotten to a rather extreme place. The FBI.. alongside, Disney security, Tennessee State Police, Knoxville PD, University Police, everybody in area, all had the very same goal to protect the shit out of the area. FBI snipers were sent down there, huge presence of police.. it was a surreal moment. The conversation about the death threats I had been receiving in life was definitely a huge topic. I don’t think it was the FBI that suggested the Bullet Proof Vest, but it was certainly an idea presented by one of the security groups. We had no idea what to expect. Nobody had been in that type of situation before. Everybody wanted the best for everybody. I never felt safer and never felt more appreciative of the people that were around me that morning including the students that came out and did WAY more than they could’ve ever imagined for my soul. How’d we get here? I had to wrestle with that a bit. FBI’s sending snipers so me and the lads don’t get shot. That’s crazy. I don’t know if they teach how you’re supposed to handle these types of things in classes or something but, I was a bit rattled by the current reality of my World. I think what I realized was, when I talked about the Algerian Olympic Gold Medal boxer, and then I was HEADLINE Quoted and Captioned by platforms with rather large influence over certain communities, they left out the massive empathy part of the conversation that I had about the entire subject. I was labeled and immediately targeted. Such is life I guess.. since then, every mistake, misstep or misquote relaunches A LOT of folks into a frenzy of me being the worst person on Earth who needs to be eliminated, and they gain more and more folks who want me unalived or as they actually say it “Kirked.” I was created on the internet. I’ve been “cooked” and shit talked and criticized since I have memories. I am no where near perfect.. and there’s no way everybody is gonna agree with me but I had no idea that this is just what life would become. I’m trying my best in real time but.. I am to talk about sports and care about the future of sports. I owe everything to sports. I’m grateful as hell to do what I do. I literally try to love every minute of the incredible opportunities I get to experience but.. it’s certainly all a much different life than I could’ve ever expected. I try to give everything I have, all the time.. I am very sorry to those that despise me. The video is how I opened The Tennessee show.. I put on a USA Sports Coat and celebrated Ball. I love sports because it’s unifying. That’s all I’m ever trying to be… actually. & Connor.. I LOVE YOU BROTHER, I’m sorry I’ve brought you lads into all of this as well.

.@d_stevensonBYU, we’re taking roadtrips to USC next year when USC fires Lincoln Riley & hires our boy, Kalani… LFG!!! …Thanks Santiago.
THERE’S NO COMING BACK: FOX Sports analyst Colin Cowherd didn’t hold back when discussing #USC HC Lincoln Riley’s future on Monday’s episode of The Colin Cowherd Podcast. Cowherd suggested that USC AD Jen Cohen would move on from Riley if given the opportunity, while also questioning the relationship between the two. “There’s no coming back. I think Jen Cohen, if she could, would buy him out. She has tolerated him. They’re not close.” Cowherd also criticized Riley’s personality and coaching approach. “Many people I’ve talked to, executives in the NFL, everybody knows that he can be a bit defensive and a bit prickly. He’s not terribly social, and he lives through the play sheet.” With USC sitting at 6–2 following its disappointing loss to Wisconsin, questions surrounding Riley’s future continue to intensify. 📸: Bonnie Ryan / Associated Press

Talked to a former player. Utah doesn’t win that Houston game with Whitt. Scalley flipped the culture — guys having fun and not scared to make plays. Whitt made you feel like you lost it yourself and might lose your job. Matches the results so far.

I hate this, not just because it's Pat, but because I want everyone who comes to the U to have a positive experience. Caring and kindness outlasts clout every time.
🚨 Pat McAfee GOES OFF on the University of Utah 😳 He says he’s never felt so uncomfortable, even bringing up what happened at UVU last year. “I did not enjoy the University of Utah.” HOLY SMOKES 💀

They also probably need a second pair of eyes on posts and media ideas from interns. Not sure who thought that was a good idea to begin with

I get the gist of this being in the moment & that he’s not trying to slam Utah but hell… Satterfield, you opened a can of worms. Utes by 40, now.
Scott Satterfield on Utah "I'm not even thinking about that. Why you asking about that. We just beat No. 8 in the country" Says his old football coach came up from App State to watch team. "That team played in the playoffs last year. I'm really proud of our program. No one gives them a chance. This is one of the greatest wins I've been a part of."

Terrible marketing by Utah to have posted what they did. Pat is a huge voice and now you've got him telling the whole country how bad he hates it on the hill. Well done Utah. Very well done. Smh. You really thought that one through. Whether pat is soft or not... well done.

Correct. Not does a person who runs a university’s account & choose to do the content reflecting their feelings towards the person. It was gigantically stupid of that person.m to do.
After watching his show this morning. He’s still upset. A couple of college kids don’t represent a whole fan base.

This is a fair take. Whether it was whoever runs the @UUtah or the @utahathletics account, the university or @Utah_Football would be wise to say the person running the account doesn’t speak for them w/how they choose to present their content. Stupid move

I had doubt, too. This game showed how good Utah’s defensive staff is at making adjustments & compensating for their weaker areas on the field. I still have concerns — DE group the big one — but my belief in the coaching staff is huge.
I would bet I wasn’t alone in this sentiment: I had some doubts the Utes would rise to the challenge against what appeared, a truly formidable opponent. I thought beforehand we’d fight at times, but would get gashed at times & may not be able to close it out. Like Morgan says, “A reminder, it's hard to win in college football.” I was wrong & left soo impressed with the grit of this team. This team made me eat crow on those thoughts & I’ll easily admit that. Go Utes!

Jason Beck isn’t exactly the Michigan problem. Go back & look at the history of Utah OCs. Whittingham’s biggest flaw is inserting himself in the offense then throwing his OCs under the bus. No OC is going to leave the money Michigan paid Beck to out-bid Scalley’s offer to him.
Michigan can't fire Jason Beck without having to pay a large buyout...BUT Can't they just strip play calling duties from him? Do we really think Beck would want to stay next year with that ego hit? He's a fine OC in the Big 12 so surely he would just go back there right?

Additionally, I was told by a past P4 OC that offensive coaches are advised by the coaching fraternity to not take the OC gig under Whittingham. So Michigan fans, definitely be careful what you wish for.
