#GItwitter #GIbleeding
ALT Among 11,387 patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding, overlap-weighted analyses (n = 10,044) found no statistically significant association between direct oral anticoagulant or warfarin use and 30-day or 1-year mortality. Haemodynamic shock was associated with 30-day mortality, whereas age and Internal Medicine ward admission were associated with mortality at both time points. Anticoagulation was resumed at discharge in 38% of survivors.
