Our A to V Charity Walk across Brimingham Landmarks was a big success last week. Fundraisers began at Villa Park at 8am, embarking on a 14 mile journey to visit famous sites such as Black Sabbath Bridge, Birmingham library, the Botanical Gardens, Old Joe, Cadbury World and more. Walkers also visited Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Acorns Children’s Hospice, Edgbaston Stadium, and Legoland Discovery Centre along their journey. Our fundraisers have together raised over £3,000 and counting. The money raised will support our Health and Wellbeing team’s mental health awareness and suicide prevention campaign to reduce stigma and encourage reaching out for support. Our Health and Wellbeing team work all year round to help provide support for the community, through one-to-one sessions, tailored workshops, providing physical activity opportunities and helping to signpost for further help 💜 A big thank you to Birmingham Mind for walking with us, and to Cadbury World and Aramark for donating lunch for our fundraisers 🥪 @Bham_Childrens @AcornsHospice @LDCBirmingham @WarwickshireCF @BhamBotanicalGd @CadburyWorld @Aramark @BirminghamMind @LibraryofBham
