Hm... I just saw the AFA2026 press conference. I'm 90% sure I won't be going this year. Honestly, if I were to go, it will only be to see Satomi Arai. Not super excited about the lineup of shows and guests this year. (^.^')
Just finished putting together the Blokees Kabuto model kit, and it is IMPRESSIVE. Not only does it require no stickers, but it's fully painted, well articulated, and gorgeously accurate to the actual suit. One issue, however, is the nub marks left on the pre-painted parts...
While I'm a huge fan of the kit, for some bizarre reason, there is a lot left out of the instructions, including how to construct the Kunaigun's Ax Mode, that gap fillers for the Kunaigun's Ax Mode are included with the expansion kit, and how to puff out the Masked Form's armor.
This is what I'm talking about. If you bought the Blokees Kabuto expansion kit, note that there is a gap filler for the Kunaigun's Ax Mode on B2, 6. It's not in the instructions.
I haven't been talking about MY-TH much, but I recently managed to get my hands on the special Televi-kun Ride Egg with Yuna's voice. It's a must-have if you've seen the show. I find it really fascinating how the actors' voices are programmed into the DX belt from the very start.
Holy crap! The exclusive faceplate alone makes the figure a must-get! Also, with how many 1/1 scale fairy figures there are out there now, I'm kinda tempted to get them all to have an entire shelf of them. (^.^')
It's Showtime! (^o^) I loved Joker and Violet's Showtime so much that I got their figmas just to recreate the final pose. I still can't believe they made Kasumi's Showtime expression a GSC Online Exclusive. They definitely knew what they were doing. (^.^')
HLJ came through with a replacement head and leg for Evangelion Prime! (^o^) There's still a loose shoulder fin, but I'm more than happy to accept it. (^.^') At least I can finally enjoy this figure for what it is - an excellent retool of the improved Evasion Prime mold.
I haven't really touched any of the Digimon Ichiban Kuji figures, but I might make an exception for these. (^.^') Just put down a huge chunk of change for the Megahouse Beelzemon, so we'll see if I still have any space left after. (^o^')
The details for the Kabuto Zecter Ver. 2 are out, and they have me convinced. (^.^') From completely brand-new molds to wireless communication features, I legitimately think they added enough features to be worthy of a Ver. 2, far more than what we got with the Den-O Ver. 2 belt.
This is my favorite DNA Design upgrade kit yet. I honestly think their Hearts of Steel Prime upgrade kit is 100% necessary to complete the figure. There are no leftover pieces in either mode, and every part plays a role in making the base figure bigger and better! (^.^')
While MPMN Sideswipe might not be the most accurate in terms of the finer details or proportions, it simply handles the best, has the smoothest transformation, and is the most fun to pose. That said, I'm also lamenting the simplified engineering and the egregious kibble... (^.^')
Okay, other than original archived voice lines, I really don't see any way they can improve it over the 1.5. I really wonder what they're gonna do when they run out of things to improve. (^.^')
From eyemirror, the company that makes all the replica anime glasses, comes Roberta's signature specs! I love how they managed to spice up a relatively simple design with all the detail. The serialized version went on sale months ago, but I wasn't able to snag one in time. (^.^')
