Using Claude for design is like using a swiss army knife to perform surgery 🙃
Sure, it can technically do it.
But a tool built for a dozen different jobs is never the sharpest at any single one.
Besides design, I've seen Claude workflows for:
→ Sales
→ Finance
→ Legal
→ Marketing
→ Engineering
→ HR
→ Operations
→ Bio research
Now, do you really think hitting that many areas at once comes with zero cost?
In this case, you pay with (1) tokens, with (2) creativity, and with (3) quality.
1 - TOKENS
The same prompt in Claude came out around 15x more expensive than in
@uxpilotai, for example.
2 - CREATIVITY
Claude was trained on everything… code, spreadsheets, legal docs, biology papers, so design is just one more skill it picked up.
3 - QUALITY
Then there's the design system problem too, Claude has no real connection to yours, so what it generates can be close enough to pass, but never the real thing.
That’s the part that gives me a headache
