Providence has really good positional size and really good perimeter depth. Deep team. Very good roster. Good foundation in place for Year 1 under Bryan Hodgson.

Dusty May on constructing his roster through the portal. “I think we are all better in certain situations than others… When the OKC Thunder won the Finals last year, I wasn’t judging them because SGA was drafted by the Clippers or because they signed Isaiah Hartenstein as a free agent. I thought, wow, those guys played beautiful basketball—that’s a real model for young players to watch.”

Dusty May on modern day recruiting “We used to recruit guys for three years and spend 200 man hours away from our families begging these 15 to 18 year olds to come and then they’d decide to go in another direction. Think about all the time and resources you wasted. Recruiting has definitely been streamlined and it is much more efficient than it’s ever been.”
