AngelList was glad to sponsor The Bridge, with Pier this month, a two-day event in the Hamptons held alongside Bridge.
It was built as a break from the usual conference format, with a gallery dinner the first night, pizza and cocktails the second, and plenty of unscheduled time for GPs and LPs to actually talk.

In our 2025 benchmarks report, we raised the possibility that 2021 could become the first vintage since 2000 in which the typical venture fund actually lost money.
As of July 1, 2026, 2021 median TVPI sits at 1.12x. Still thin five years in, but moving in the right direction. The broader recovery is holding, though distributions to LPs remain the constraint.
