I have a few things to say now that Angie's primary is over.

As Democrats, we constantly criticize the far-right for their incendiary and discriminatory politics, but we need to hold ourselves to the same standard. Hasan Piker’s rhetoric is polarizing and dangerous, and embracing him as a party is a mistake. I am disappointed that Minnesota DFLers are hosting an event with him here.

Minnesotans deserve a Senator who will work for them – not Donald Trump. It was great to join State Senator Lindsey Port and State Reps. Kaela Berg and Liz Reyer in Burnsville today to voice our support for @peggyflanagan as Minnesota’s next U.S. Senator. Together, we’ll beat MAGA Michele Tafoya in November.   Let’s go win this thing.

Great to be in Hastings this morning with @amyklobuchar and @richardcarlbom to support our fellow DFL-ers Judy Seeberger and Jen Fox!   Judy has been a consistent champion for CD2ers in the Minnesota State Senate, and Jen is ready to bring that same energy to the Minnesota State House. They’re hard workers, tough and exactly the kind of people we need in stategovernment. I couldn’t be prouder to stand with both of them in this fight. Vote Judy and Jen on November 3rd!
