You can criticize sexualized depictions of fictional minors without labeling strangers pedophiles. Especially when artists deliberately redesign characters as adults. Ignoring artistic intent doesn't make your accusation factual, and disagreeing with you isn't evidence of guilt.

after beating this game, it really solidified how fake twitter outrage is.
Leon is handled with care. Joan is a great spiritual guide for Rose. Had the fun exploration of the igavanias, with more challenging bosses. I love this game. Also Medusa kills it in her role here btw.

But in short. There is nothing wrong with a show tackling harsh reality directly. YOU, need media sugar coated. YOU need media sanitized and soft so YOU can process it. Yes it's on the nose. But that is not an objectively bad quality.
I REALLY love seeing shows with unorthodox and experimental artstyles, characters, and stories, but that immediately gets completely ruined by writing with the subtlety of an anvil to the head. They could’ve written a clever allegory or metaphor but instead its just this- 😭

I see most of the replies cannot separate artistic expression from objective storytelling.
If it was MEANT to be subtle and deep and profound, that's one thing. But here, it clearly was meant to be heavy handed.
