8 reverse engineering patterns for AI engineers: (explained with usage) 1) search first → check whether someone already took it apart. the index of open-source reverse engineering tools is at 17,726. → use before every target. an afternoon of searching beats a week of work you didn't need. 2) route the target → the target type picks the first tool. an Electron app, an APK, a firmware image and a packet capture each start somewhere else. → use when you're about to run the same decompiler on everything. 3) summary first → start with the overview, then drill only where a specific question is still open. → use on anything big. most of the binary is not your question. 4) static before runtime → read the shipped artifact first. run it only when static evidence can't answer. → use when you're tempted to "just launch it and see". static analysis never observed execution, so don't claim it did. 5) label every finding → observed, inferred or unknown. each one tied to the evidence it came from. → use always. an unlabeled guess becomes a "fact" two steps later. 6) spec before build → write spec.md and a comparison plan before a single line of the rebuild. mark what you can't observe. → use when the target has parts you'll never see, like server behavior or private metrics. 7) plant a bug in the copy → before you trust your tests, break a copy on purpose and check they catch it. → use when "all tests pass" sounds too good. 8) improve one thing → only after the baseline matches. one evidence-backed change, then compare again. → use when you want your version to be better, not just the same. the first four read the target. the last four prove your copy. most "i cloned X in one prompt" posts skip straight to 8. these come from REA's own reverse-engineer-anything skill and the 8-step workspace prompt in the article below.

holy crap, this project just fixed the dumbest bug in voice AI your average voice agent hears its own voice and thinks it's you. put an AI call on speaker. mid-sentence it stops and asks "sorry, could you repeat that?" you didn't say a word. your phone's mic just picked up the AI's voice from your own speaker. the old fix was muting the mic while the AI talks. but then you can't interrupt it either. stt v6 from @soniox_ai knows what the AI is saying, so it ignores that voice and still hears you when you cut in talking to AI finally works like talking to a person
Introducing Soniox STT v6, the world’s first speech recognition model that knows what your voice agent is saying and automatically filters out the agent’s own voice. Two connected innovations make this possible: → Agent text input gives recognition context from both sides of the conversation, improving its understanding of user responses. → Agent voice echo cancellation filters out the agent’s playback while continuing to listen to the user, even when they interrupt. The result: fewer false interruptions, fewer clarification loops, and more reliable conversations. V6 also delivers significantly higher accuracy across 60+ languages for voice typing, meeting transcription, multilingual recognition, and real-time translation, with stronger speaker diarization, language identification, endpoint detection, and context customization. One unified speech model. All 60+ languages. The full feature set, with languages freely mixed. Available now for real-time streaming and asynchronous transcription. call me crazy but its pretty clear now. rea + the leaked prompts of 30+ AI tools are going to change more lives in 2026 than open source ever did. any AI tool you pay for is already in the prompts. rea reads the rest. you rebuild the feature. the feature is yours. if this lands on your timeline dont scroll past it. send this to claude code. connect it to rea and the prompts. thats it. thank me later. most people will ignore this. the ones who dont will be fine. simple as that.

this is f**king insane. two AI labs just open sourced a 100% FREE Suno replacement that runs entirely on your own machine. the GitHub repo is at 14.3K stars. it lets you: → make a full song in under 10 seconds on an RTX 3090 → drop in any track and pull out its BPM, key and time signature → make covers, split stems, redo any part of a song → train it on your own style with 8 songs in about an hour their own tests put it between Suno v4.5 and Suno v5. it needs less than 4GB of VRAM. no monthly credits. no song limits. no track ever leaves your computer. save this for later. repo below

call me crazy but its pretty clear now. rea + jev is going to change more lives in 2026 than open source ever did. any app goes to rea. jev makes the calls. rea does the work. the app is yours. if this lands on your timeline dont scroll past it. send this to claude code. connect it to rea and jev. thats it. thank me later. most people will ignore this. the ones who dont will be fine. simple as that.

holy sh*t this is insane: soon AI agents will have their own crypto wallets they’ll buy compute, pay for APIs, trade and send money to each other across Ethereum, Solana and every other chain. no human clicking confirm bridges keep getting hacked, so @WireNetwork connects chains without them LayerZero and Wormhole each raised $200M+ from VCs and launched at ~$4.3B and ~$16.5B FDV. Wire’s LCO goes 100% into liquidity & you can currently get in at $450M FDV. the agent economy will need rails. Wire is building them

this is getting f*cking dangerous... REA already reads firmware, packet captures and chip signals. these 20 GitHub repos turn it into a f*cking hardware hacking lab: [01] the brain > REA: one MCP that plugs your agent into everything below github.com/morluto/rea > Ghidra: the NSA's decompiler, free github.com/NationalSecurityA… > GhidraMCP: lets your agent drive Ghidra github.com/LaurieWired/Ghidr… > REA-Prompts: ready-made investigation prompts for REA github.com/JoasASantos/REA-P… [02] firmware > flashrom: reads the firmware straight off the chip github.com/flashrom/flashrom > binwalk: finds the filesystem hidden inside the dump github.com/ReFirmLabs/binwal… > unblob: extracts the formats binwalk misses github.com/onekey-sec/unblob > qiling: runs the firmware without the device github.com/qilingframework/q… [03] radio & signals > rtl_433: decodes sensors, remotes and doorbells over the air github.com/merbanan/rtl_433 > Sniffle: sniffs Bluetooth LE, the way glasses and earbuds talk github.com/nccgroup/Sniffle > HackRF: a cheap radio that can transmit too github.com/greatscottgadgets… > PulseView: records the signals on the board's pins github.com/sigrokproject/pul… [04] the app that talks to it > jadx: turns the Android companion app back into Java github.com/skylot/jadx > Frida: hooks into the app while it runs github.com/frida/frida > mitmproxy: reads what the app sends to the cloud github.com/mitmproxy/mitmpro… > Wireshark: reads every packet on the wire github.com/wireshark/wiresha… [05] make it yours > ESPHome: your own firmware for ESP32 devices github.com/esphome/esphome > Tasmota: swaps the cloud firmware on cheap smart plugs github.com/arendst/Tasmota > Home Assistant: runs all of it locally, no cloud github.com/home-assistant/co… > awesome-reverse-engineering: the full list, from the account behind REA github.com/morluto/awesome-r… how it runs: device -> dump + sniff -> REA -> explain -> your firmware -> flash -> test save this, point it at any device on your desk and watch it explain itself

THIS IS ACTUAL F*CKING GOLD Anthropic hid one of the best tricks for Claude Code in its docs. it's not even in claude --help The idea: Sonnet does the work, and Opus sits next to it as an advisor that Claude calls only when it needs a stronger brain. Opus-level judgment on the big calls, without paying Opus rates for every routine turn. You just launch Claude Code like this: claude --model sonnet --advisor opus here's the split: → Sonnet 5.5 runs the session and writes the code → Opus 5.5 is the advisor: it runs server-side and Claude decides when to ask it → Haiku 5.5 does the file and docs search if you give your Explore subagent model: haiku → you stop spending Opus on turns that don't need it Opus tends to step in at three moments: → before Claude commits to an approach → when the same error keeps coming back → before it calls the task done Sonnet builds. Haiku explores. Opus reviews. Anthropic's own numbers for Sonnet + an Opus advisor: +2.7 points on SWE-bench Multilingual and 11.9% cheaper per task than Sonnet alone to make it your default, type /advisor opus once the catch: it's experimental and needs the Anthropic API, so it does nothing on Bedrock, Vertex or Foundry. advisor tokens still count toward your plan bookmark this before your next session
