Why are they making it skill based matchmaking? Genuinely itd be better if they didn't make it skill based matchmaking just make it so all players have a chance to get it
UPDATE:
CHEST REWARDS ARE LIKELY SBMM BASED
You are more likely to get chest rewards by not only playing Squad Fills, but also if the SBMM is on the LOWER END
This is so that returning players / new players / more casual players that don't play BR often, have chances to get it.

Ima be honest, if your not streaming and making content off competitive genuinely whats the point
I make more for working a week at a minimum waged job then the people who just play tournaments all day for "a chance" to win money.
People who make maps make more then grinding 24 hours on fortnite
Been thinking this for awhile playing fn competitively is not worth it.
Unrelated but
Fortnite competitive has been not great for a long time, dating back to chapter 1.
Id argue the minute people started learning how edit is when the downfall started. But thats mostly a separate issue and a take for another day.
