A noon game, just what we need!
After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN. The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco. All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again. By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center. The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

……where did Kenny Smith get $2 billion from?
Sources: Ownership group of Marc Lasry (former Bucks co-owner) & Canadian billionaire Steve Apostolopoulos remain in play for Las Vegas NBA Expansion bid. I’m also told Kenny Smith from “Inside The NBA” is part of the ownership group and has raised 20 percent of the bid.

Just remembered that Kushner’s wife, supermodel Karlie Kloss bought into the NY Liberty last year. I imagine that IF Kushner/Iger wanted to buy the Sparks, Kloss would need to divest from the Liberty.

The lack of nuance & overall knowledge on the Super Bowl halftime show never ceases to amaze me, every year it’s conspiracies. 😂

Yesterday I thought we’d get a Super Bowl Halftime Show announcement lol. The game was on MNF, broadcasted by ESPN, who’s hosting. Twas also in SoFi, where the game will be played. Alas, the wait continues.

lol this is a fun convo but that’s really all it is. Once he bought the raiders stake his playing days were over. He told @sherman4949 some time ago he approached owners about the possibility of playing & owning simultaneously and they weren’t fond of it.
Tom Brady's biographer says he isn't ruling out Brady playing in the NFL again, saying he “would not be shocked” if the 49-year-old attempted a comeback. “I think he wishes he got number eight,” Lars Anderson added on @FOSTonight.

I believe it’s the third largest fine of an owner/team ever. First would be McLaren, second would be Snyder.
I recognize $30 million is relatively not a lot for the Microsoft guy, but as far as ownership penalties go, it’s pretty damn huge.
