ADC Lagos State Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate. Unapologetically Yoruba. Christ is King! #VoteGRV2027 #VoteADC #MakeEkoGreatAgain #MEGA2027

Lagos, Nigeria
Dear @GRVlagos @atiku @ChibuikeRotimi1 @PeterObi @KwankwasoRM @seyimakinde @ADCNig, Your Excellencies, call me an alarmist, but the time has come for us to face reality. This is a call to all GENUINE opposition politicians in Nigeria. For over a decade now, we have all watched the supposed electoral umpire of our great country bring the country to its knees with questionable conduct of voter registration, PVC distribution and supervision of elections. The idea that they have been receiving billions of dollars in public funds every year, and are unable to CONTINUOUSLY register new voters and issue PVCs accordingly is strange in an era where banks are able to receive applications for payment cards and issue them ON THE SAME DAY, with less capital than is made available to @inecnigeria annually. We as a country, are a reproach to the black race, being the biggest and clearly, most foolish, on current evidence, of black countries, if we cannot even register our people for elections and conduct said elections in a fair and transparent manner. This latest fraud that INEC is committing, refusing to register millions of eligible Nigerians, and then withholding the PVCa of millions that have managed to register, and then DELIBERATELY populating the Voters Register with fake AI voters is, for me and millions of Nigerians, the last straw. If the camel's back must break, so be it. Our security and investigatory agencies, @PoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG @officialEFCC @icpc are all pretending to be blind, when each single one of them actually has jurisdiction over many of these @inecnigeria INFRACTIONS. With the openness and persistence of of this pervasive culture of fraud, and the potential for a complete and irretrievable breakdown of law and order because of MILLIONS of Nigerians being systematically denied their right to choose their leaders, there really should be no call for a petition before they do their duty to save Nigeria from the brink of outright collapse. It is clear to many of us that INEC is thoroughly compromised, CLEARLY PARTISAN and completely incapable of conducting anything resembling a free and fair election. It is equally clear that the ruling @OfficialAPCNg are determined to ensure that the elections are a complete sham. INEC's refusal to register millions eligible Nigerians has nothing to do with availability of resources, based on their humonguous budgets. It is clearly deliberate and designed to return the incompetent and irredeemably corrupt APC to power. It is my opinion that no eligible Nigerian who wants to vote should be denied their right to do so by the deliberate efforts of the crooks at INEC to circumscribe their rights. I am hereby suggesting this as a way forward: Following the constructive refusal and abject failure of INEC to do their duty, all Nigerians, eligible by age to vote, should be allowed to either present their NIN, their BVN, or their bank debit card, along with a government issued photo ID, like a passport, or Driving Licence, at their nearest polling unit to vote. It might sound drastic to some, but if this country is to be saved, it is at least one way forward. I hope this conversation will continue until we reach an agreeable way of guaranteeing the very survival of Nigerians. Yours faithfully, Babatunde O. Gbadamosi 2027 Lagos State ADC Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate.
RED ALERT🚨 INEC @inecnigeria may have duplicated our PVCs. One for you, & one for your AI clone. You will vote your choice in Bayelsa State, while your AI clone votes Bola in Benue State. This is not a DRILL‼️ @inecnigeria is compromised⚠️ The rigging has begun⛔️ #INECIsCorrupt #OccupyINECNow

Nero fiddled while Rome burned.
I stepped away from the usual business of governance to walk the runway for the incredibly talented Ugo Monye at Lagos Fashion Week. Lagos continues to grow as a home for fashion, creativity and culture and I am always happy to support the people driving this growth.

The Commissioner for Works that supervised that obvious mismanagement of public funds was @drobafemihamzat. Yes, the same one who is now waxing lyrical about a 100 page "promise" to Lagosians.
In 2013, Governor @tundefashola commissioned the 1.68km Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge and proudly announced that it had been fully funded by Lagos State taxpayers, at ₦29b ($195m). Lagosians protested at the idea that a private company - LTC - which had NOT funded any part of the work, would now reap tolls where they sowed nothing. It was the cost that immediately caught my attention, as I had followed - largely because of its engineering complexity - the construction of the 42km Qingdao Jiaozhou Bridge over the Jiaozhou Bay in China, which cost approximately $2.3b ($55m per km) in total. The much, much shorter, and much less complex and technically challenging 1.68km Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge cost Lagosians $143m per km. Let that sink in. The Commissioner for Works that supervised that obvious mismanagement of public funds was @drobafemihamzat. Yes, the same one who is now waxing lyrical about a 100 page "promise" to Lagosians. It was also Hamzat that supervised the signing of the Lagos Blue line construction contract which Fashola announced cost Lagos $1.2b, only for the contractor - CRCC - to announce to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that they were paid $182m for the Blue AND Red lines! Let me not talk about the huge loans obtained for all these projects, some of which are not completed to this day! You can see just how experienced Hazmat is in mismanaging public funds for the benefit of his benefactors and to the detriment of the long suffering Lagos Taxpayers. You see that 100 page kinikan promise he released yesterday? If you allow them to rig him in with their AI Voters, you will realise that right now, as bad as Lagos actually is with bad roads, refuse, lack of water and so on, you are actually living in APC's version of paradise. As experienced hands in the built environment sector, @GRVlagos and I will certainly not allow this kind of Waste, Mismanagement and Imprudence in delivering the multiple projects that we plan to. Lagos can no longer afford it.

this is the kind of opposition Nigeria should have right now. the devil is always in the details. sit with the data, and pressure the incumbency. at the level of the presidency, it’s even worse, opposition will release statements, and you will lose few brain cells trying to make sense of it. it’s also why our vector of growth, though positive, is still steep. Incumbency has never had it easier.
