Unpopular opinion maybe, but as great as I find FM24 and the memories I had of the game are very very good, I don't think it was objectively that good.
What made FM24 look good was the countless skins, the improvements that they brought and the fact we got two years with it, as well as match engine mods and the likes.
Whilst FM24 is a great game, I don't think FM27 is worse than 24, nor do I think it is better yet, but if you go back to the base game of FM24 and play without any addons you have a game that I think benefits a great deal from revisionism.
I am not saying you are bad for sticking with and enjoying 24, or playing and enjoying 27, you need to play what you enjoy more, but to me, the difference between 24 and 27 ain't as big as some make it out to be.
With that said, time to go into hiding...

This is very constructive! It's given me the idea of maybe a Club DNA that includes things like inherent affinity with tactics/style or something similar. Hard to put words on it, maybe you guys can add on to it?
just because a new manager comes in, they don‘t become randomly stupid like they do right now, it just doesn‘t make that much sense.. For example if Barca gets a new manager (ur own in this case) they should be able to play a standard 4-3-3 pretty decently w/o training.

As someone who categorically does not earn "$$$" from codes due to the work I do and is still a creator in the space, I quite like the game and big up the game for that reason😁
I was critical of 26 to the point I felt sorry for the person who gifted it to me for not being able to get a refund. If you don't like 27, that's completely fine, if you like 24 more, perfect, go play that game and have a good time and I will enjoy my time with my game.
Why are we so bloody tribal about this?
‘Cause you creators big up the game just to sell your codes for a few $$$. You’s don’t have the balls to call the shit product that is fm 27 shit.

Tactical Effectiveness in many ways is what I feel #FM27 needed. I cannot simply plug and play a gegentikitakapress with plumbers or semi pros. The Match Engine needs work, sure and I am sure that SI will be on this already.
What I do think the Tactical Effectiveness needs is a relative compared to league, country, continent and world. What will the tactical effectiveness be when compared to my level, what is my team's ceiling. How does lesser TE affect the plays I see on the pitch. I think that would make it a lot more understandable to go and set up trainings for it, and get players for it.
But I think this feature is one that FM has needed for a while. I enjoyed it a tonne in the free-play.

Having had a few days and many hours of frustration with #FM27, I understand the criticism of the game, and specifically the Tactical Effectiveness.
I'd become so used to being able to manipulate and exploit match engines, that over the years I had got used to just brute forcing and speedrunning my waybthrough seasons and easily improving.
This year you have to... actually play the game... you cant just play fantasy league and slam your spacebar to a treble. You actually have to *shock* MANAGE THE FOOTBALL TEAM.
I for one love that needing to actually play the qame has returned. Make suitable tactics, recruit smartly, coach with intent.
The easy short term dopamine hit is gone, the long term reward is back.
If you want to download an exploit tactic and win a treble within 4 seasons with Swansea, stick to FM24. If you actually want a game to play and interact with, FM27 is great.
I love this game.
