Alex Egbuonu has hit 2 three-pointers off the bench, a promising development for the #mubb freshman.
Have heard he's been really good in practice over the last few weeks.

For the final exhibition test against Michigan State, Marquette is going with the same starters as the game against UWGB:
Nigel James Jr., Adrien Stevens, Damarius Owens, Royce Parham and Sananda Fru. #mubb

Nigel James Jr.'s life changed dramatically last season as he ascended to a star player for Marquette.
With that came all the pressures, noise and speculation that come in this era.
But the #mubb star is built differently:

HALFTIME: Marquette 43, UW-Green Bay 38
#mubb running a lot of subs in and out, but Nigel James Jr. and outside shooting (6 for 8) stand out.
For GB, Ahmere Carson has 27 points (!!!), making all 10 of his shots, including some tough ones.

Small sample-size caveat and all that, but Marquette has started 6 for 8 on 3-pointers. #mubb

In his first eight minutes, Nigel James Jr. has 10 points on 4-for-4 shooting, with three assists, zero turnovers, a highlight block and a steal that led to a fastbreak dunk.
He should be somewhere on preseason All-American ballots. #mubb
