Russia launched over 8,740 Shahed-type drones against Ukraine in October 2026 alone, with more than 4,000 of them being jet-powered.
Visualized route density tracking reveals heavy drone flight paths across Ukraine, with the highest concentration of drone routes passing over Kyiv and major eastern cities, including Kharkiv and Dnipro.
According to daily tracking data from MAPA. UA and Ukraine Alarm, jet-powered Shaheds now account for a major share of Russia’s aerial assault, deployed alongside propeller-driven models, cruise and ballistic missiles, decoys, and glide bombs (KABs).
