Per @AlwaysCFB pod, 127 of Bishop’s 159 yds came between the tackles — most any player has run between the tackles against Alabama in 10 years.
Another big day for DeSean.
The only FBS player with at least 800 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs this season.

Tennessee DL Tyree Weathersby (6-5, 270) is a big, strong athlete who is putting it all together in year four (8.0 TFL, 6.5 sacks).
The Vols front-7 is loaded led by Weathersby and Xavier Gilliam (who looks like a top-20 draft pick).

Neyland Effect and @Vol_Football defense relentless pursuit all game. 11 of Bama 13 drives ended in either a turnover, turnover on downs or a punt (1 drive off TO was 1 play). 💪

Josh Heupel has now reached six wins in each of his last five Octobers at Tennessee.
The #Vols didn’t reach six wins in October every year from 2007-21.

As @DavidSPaschall and I were heading out, @Bill_Martin made the great point: “Y’know, Wes would’ve really loved covering this game today.”
Very true. So with that having been said, g’nite from General Neyland’s big ol’ damn house of football @wesruckerTBA 🍊🧡

4 current Vols beat Alabama for 3rd time in their careers on this field. 30 current Vols beat the Tide multiple times in their careers. From 2007-21, @Vol_Football never did. 📈
Tennessee (Heupel) & UGA (Smart) the only FBS teams to beat Alabama 3x last 5 seasons.
