One year in at
@katana . It's been a ride.
This past year has been one of the most intense and rewarding periods of growth for me, both on the business side and as a developer.
What started as a Developer Relations role evolved into so much more. I've had the opportunity to contribute across product, marketing, AI optimization, community, engineering, and feature design.
But the dev in me never stopped getting my hands dirty on the technical side.
I've built and operated liquidation bots, perps trading bots, AI-driven delta-neutral strategy bots, and arbitrage bots (still haven't figured out how to make that arbitrage profitable, lmao).
One of the biggest takeaways, though, has been the people I've worked alongside.
We're a tight team and I've learned something from every single person.
The Katana Perps team are true OGs. Watching their meticulous approach to engineering, optimization, and execution has been an education in itself. When a team has worked together for over seven years, you can see it in how they operate, solve problems, and build. That kind of chemistry is hard to replicate.
It's been intense. My socials haven't been nearly as active as they used to be, but that's because I've been heads down, building, experimenting, learning, and constantly pushing myself to improve.
One year in, and I still feel like there's so much more to learn and build.
Excited for what's ahead at Katana and to see just how far we can take this thing.
