Bioenterprise Canada is pleased to announce a second funding intake for the Clean Agri-Tech Accelerator (CATA), a program designed to support Canadian agriculture businesses advancing high-impact clean technology projects.
CATA is funded under the Agricultural Clean Technology (ACT) Program Research and Innovation Stream – Accelerator (ACT Accelerator), delivered by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), which aims to advance the development of clean technology for adoption in agriculture across Canada.
CATA is led and delivered by Bioenterprise Canada, in collaboration with project partners across Canada, including SVG Ventures | THRIVE, Zone Agtech, and the Canadian Agri-Food Automation & Intelligence Network (CAAIN).
Offering up to $200,000 in non-repayable, matching contribution funding for innovative projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve resource efficiency, and enhance sustainability, CATA will help strengthen competitiveness and contribute to Canada’s climate and economic objectives.
The second CATA intake will open November 10, 2026, with applications accepted until December 8, 2026. This intake will use a streamlined, one-stage application process. An updated Program Guide, including revised eligibility requirements and application details, will be available when the intake opens at
