馃УLooking through the $XBI: This is my post where I got through the index and look a the companies. I typically annoy all the bulls who own all the companies I say bad things about.

$MRNA I actually bought this company after its busted IPO in 2019. It was a great trade off the Covid vaccine, but now its turned into a meme stock pumping a cancer vaccine that add little benefit.
I am still looking at ideas for biotech. I have very strict criteria so I will dismiss 99% of companies. They are: 1. Good phase 3 to early commercial 2. Best in class or First in class drugs 3. Diverse pipeline of more than 1 drug 4. Trades below intrinsic value I have 3 companies I did DD but did not pick. I will justify them here. This will help you understand what I am looking for. $AXSM - Great company and I owned it for a long while. The issue was that Auvelity was the only real block buster for them. The rest of their drugs will be much smaller. $CTYK - Great company and I owned them for a while. They also have 1 great drug and 2 others that might be OK, but not nearly as big. Omecamtiv failed already in previous trials so that is very risky. $ARWR - Great company that I owned on and off over the years. They over use partnerships. I do not like companies that keep giving away all the potential. I am greedy and I want all the upside potential. The only thing they kept were the Cholesterol drugs which are blah. Probably why no one partnered them indications to begin with.

Been Spending a lot of time working on my strategy and company picks as I rebuild my biotech portfolio. After doing nearly 100% return from the spring 2025 to spring 2026, I am being super picky when trying to pick new ideas. So far I got 4 commercial companies and 3 clinical companies that are core positions. I think have about 5 or 6 others that are new. Commercial: $INSM, $BBIO, $PTGX, and $MIRM. Clinical: $PRAX, $IDYA and $COGT. New: $MDGL, $SMMT, $IMNM, $DFTX, $BLTE, and $ZBIO. It will take time to know these companies enough to see if any of them become core positions.

I made a couple more biotech buys today with $PTGX, $MIRM twice and $COGT. That should get me to about 48% stock in biotech and 52% cash/ $SGOV. I have my plan and I am executing as long as I can get the prices I want.

I added a little more $MIRM as its only thing down enough to buy in biotech. Maybe I buy back my $LABD?

Last move for this week is I added some $PTGX. Its not the most exciting story since big pharma gets 90% of their revenues, but its a really low risk story. Worst case is JNJ buys them and I make a fast profit. Best case is they keep making royalty revenues and using that to buy back tons of stock which shrinks float over time. Maybe I even get lucky and they keep IL-17 and other early stage drugs all for us shareholders.

Was looking to buy the dip this morning and fade the recovery, but just didn't get the sales I wanted. Maybe I am too late.

If we bottomed for today, I can flip into sell mode and look to clean out some low conviction names. I guess that is a valid strategy.

Looks like I am done for today as the buyers sweeping in to buy the dip.

Bought back a starter position in $TSM in my Asia portfolio. I only like this name at the right price which is much lower than here. If we have a big tech pop, I will just trade it for easy money like last time.

Nibbled some $BLTE as its only thing down enough in biotech to be worth buying.

Grabbed some $DOCN on dip below $90, $ASTS in the $36 range and $BE on dip to $192.

People don't realize that 90% of the symptoms they have when sick come from the activation of the immune system. This is why everything has many of the same symptoms. When you get symptoms after a vaccination, its because it is the immune system working.
