Leading the public to believe the midterms will have a certain very likely outcome is a handy way of setting the stage for accusations of fraud etc should that outcome not materialize as predicted.

It’s a base election and nobody brings out the base better than Trump. This will affect House races too. Positively.
Trump putting himself on the ballot has been a stroke of genius.

Local elections matter the most.
Choose wisely when going into the voting booth especially locally; those are the lawmakers who make the most impact on your life, community & livelihood. Do your homework; an ideological vote because you're mad at a "party " in either direction has real consequences.

Smokers are the most discriminated against Americans by far, economically, socially, politically. But it’s fine, because we still get to light a cigarette and say, “fuck it.”

Ok.
For the first time in @metrotimes history, we’re no longer seeking comment from a candidate’s campaign because of repeated lies and bigoted attacks. That candidate is Mike Rogers, whose campaign keeps targeting Abdul El-Sayed’s Muslim faith. metrotimes.com/news/mike-rog…

We’re hearing ad nauseam about anti-Trump sentiment this election but the reality is there is a broader anti-incumbency and anti-corruption backlash across the board. Those dynamics are playing out differently in each state — and in MN they could push Michelle Tafoya to victory. @TheStoryFNC

People argue that internal polls must be more accurate or campaigns wouldn’t spend millions on them. But that’s not quite right. When a campaign buys an internal, the value is not in the top line prediction, it’s in the cross tabs. Am I struggling with a group, a region, an issue? So even if the top line is 7 points off, you’ve gained actionable insight. For us, in the news, we do some cursory cross tab dives, but the real value is the prediction.
