The first 11/23 words, yes; the final word (checksum) is calculated in the next dialogue screen, where you are given a selection of ones to choose from.
The order is crucial. In 1.7.7, it shows you a number in each cell showing selection sequence. Play around and you’ll see.

.@craigraw’s iterations on Border Wallets’ UX just keep getting better. In 1.7.7, he has added cell selection numbering as well as other improvements for users. So good!

LFG fam!
I arrived home this weekend to find @superphatarrow sharing our 1st field report of @BorderWallets being used in the wild - helping someone to flee their country to start a new life in the west with their savings safely transported using BW.
(I’m not crying, you’re crying😭)

💡The order in which you select your cells adds another layer of attack protection. In this most simple example of a pattern, there are 39,916,800 (11!) possible ways of choosing the first 11 cells before selecting the checksum.
258,520,167,388,849,766,400 ways if you use 23.

How it started / how it’s going 😂
Just found the tweets that led to @BorderWallets being born (on my @mtcbtc account which was banned until recently).
Replying to fren who asked “How can I travel internationally with my seed phrase?”
The first name for the entropy grid was ‘noise’ grid 😅
