Whoβs really in control of the technology we depend on every day?
The latest episode of @OasisProtocolβs Privacy Talks #7 explores some important questions around Frontier AI, the debate over slowing its development, and security breaches affecting platforms like Revolut and Trezor.
Beyond the headlines, the discussion highlights how exposed our digital lives can be and why stronger safeguards matter as AI continues to advance and crypto users take greater responsibility for their own assets.
From protecting personal data to securing digital wealth, one thing is clear: privacy and security canβt be treated as an afterthought.

Privacy is becoming more important as Web3 grows.
Thatβs where @OasisProtocol comes in.
Oasis is building technology that helps developers protect sensitive data while still allowing applications to use it.
From confidential smart contracts to privacy-preserving AI, Oasis is helping make Web3 more secure without sacrificing usability.
Because the future of blockchain isn't just about transparency. It's also about protecting what should remain private.

What if retail traders could access better market intelligence? π§΅
In crypto, institutions often have access to advanced tools and deeper market analysis, while retail traders are left trying to catch up.
@OasisProtocol is helping change this through its work with Tradable and SenseAI.
Hereβs how it works. π
Why does Oasis matter?
AI analysis is only useful if its integrity can be trusted.
That's where Oasis ROFL comes in.
SenseAI runs in a confidential computing environment designed to protect private prompts and prevent operators from tampering with execution.
Remote attestation also provides a way to verify the code being run.
SenseAI's memory is encrypted, with its data stored on Autonomys Auto Drive and an onchain contract pointing to it. Only the user holds the keys to read that data.
The bigger picture?
Oasis is helping provide the privacy and verifiability needed for AI-powered market intelligence.
Better insights matter, but being able to trust how those insights are produced matters just as much.

Transparency matters, especially when rewards are involved.
Thatβs one thing worth highlighting from the Oasis cycling season.
Beyond bringing cycling enthusiasts together through Challenge Hub, the team also showed how the final winners were determined, with Oasis Sapphire playing a role in making the draw verifiable.
The community call goes deeper into the experience and also gives us a glimpse of whatβs ahead for Privana.
Always good to see the people behind these projects sharing the process, not just the results.

Ever made a token swap and received less than you expected? MEV could be one of the reasons.
Bots can spot pending transactions and exploit them through tactics like sandwich attacks, costing traders money.
This is where @PrivanaFinance comes in.
Built on @OasisProtocol Sapphire, Privana uses confidential execution to sign and submit swaps inside a secure environment, keeping them out of the public mempool.
No public exposure for bots to watch and target before execution.
The goal is simple: make DeFi swaps fairer and protect users from unnecessary MEV extraction.
Privacy isn't just about hiding data. It's also about protecting your trades. π

One challenge in Web3 is that privacy often works within a single application.
You can have a private token, pool, or vote, but connecting it to another app can expose information you wanted to keep confidential.
This is where @OasisProtocol comes in. π§΅
Meet composable privacy on Sapphire.
Oasis Sapphire is a confidential EVM network that allows smart contracts to process private data.
With composable privacy, confidential applications can interact without automatically exposing sensitive values between them.
Privacy becomes part of how applications work together, not just a feature of one app.
What does this mean for DeFi?
Imagine a lending protocol checking a user's confidential balance in another application.
On Oasis Sapphire, confidential contracts can interact within the protected runtime, allowing sensitive values to remain confidential instead of being exposed through ordinary onchain state.
This opens the door to building more complex, privacy-preserving DeFi applications.

Privacy matters, especially as more of our lives move onchain.
Thatβs why @OasisProtocol is worth paying attention to.
By combining blockchain technology with confidential computing, Oasis helps applications process sensitive data while keeping it private.
The goal is simple: build a digital world where innovation doesn't have to come at the cost of privacy.
The future needs both.

.@OasisProtocol just wrapped up its Slovenia cycling challenge, and the numbers are worth a look. π΄
Across five races, the challenge attracted over 15,000 sign-ups and thousands of cycling fans making podium predictions.
But what caught my attention was how @OasisProtocol handled the final prize draw.
Using Oasis Sapphire, the draw was designed to be tamper-resistant, with results recorded on-chain so anyone could verify them.
It's a practical example of how blockchain technology can bring more transparency to everyday applications, even outside crypto.
Sometimes, the best way to explain the technology is to show it in action.
