A fun one here in Lawrence! The projected No. 1 pick in 2027 (Tyran Stokes) vs. the projected No. 1 pick in 2028 (Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje) as Duke takes on Kansas.

Big fan of this:
Like Dan Hurley’s teams at UCONN, daily skill development is something that a lot of the best coaches implement - even during the season
You should not be the same player at the end of the season as the beginning, and your skill level needs daily refinement

247 is the best in the game with hoops recruiting ... but all these reclassifications up and down grades makes this stuff pointless.
Be the trendsetter, start ranking by birth year instead of grade. Then there will be no movement of players.
Reclassification is likely to play a major role in shaping the 2028 basketball recruiting rankings 🏀
@ebosshoops explains why and goes in depth on which players could be eyeing 2027 moves 👀

Mark Byington tells me that Vanderbilt needs a significant jump out of its sophomore class --- Chandler Bing, Ace Glass, Sebastian Williams-Adams, and Jayden Leverett --- in 2026-27.
The Dores are at Miami on Friday night in an exhibition game.

Vanderbilt leads UAB 48-30 at halftime. Tanner’s got 10 points? 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Ace Glass has 7 points, 3 rebounds.
Overall, Commodores have been a little cold from 3 (I think 5/16 unofficially) but defensively have been very disruptive.

There was something special about being a kid when adults didn't feel the need to entertain you every minute of the day.
Your parents could take you somewhere incredibly boring, and you were just expected to deal with it.
The bank. The hardware store. Your mother's friend's house, where you sat on a couch covered in plastic and weren't allowed to touch anything.
Nobody handed you a screen. Nobody worried about whether you were having fun.
You studied the wallpaper. You read the same magazine three times. You stared at the clock and wondered if the second hand had stopped moving.
And if you made the mistake of asking, "Can we go now?" your mother gave you that look.
You know the look.
The one that could end your entire afternoon without a single word being spoken.
I swear, we developed half our imagination simply because our parents refused to entertain us.
Looking back, I think being bored was one of the best things that ever happened to us.

No fundamentals you getting EXPOSED in college don't care what type of ATHLETE you are. You have to be able to PROCESS the game. That goes for basketball and football.
