Earnestly Contend for the Faith — Jude 1:3 | Building reading culture among believers #KingdomHardcopies | Public Health & One Health Researcher

Abuja, Nigeria
I was listening today to Seye Maj message on God's sovereign choice this morning on my way to work. It was beautiful how he built the sermon from the Synod of Dort, and I appreciated the history he brought in. Another thing was the arguments he made even though I felt that the Ephesians 1 reference was quite read to fit a theological framework (my thoughts in personal judgement). But there was something he said at the latter end: all Christians believe in election, just how we explain it differs. It felt so gracious for many reasons. First, that he recognized other Christians as Christians. Beautiful. Ah. I felt so happy, and learned something I can't put to words but while we discuss the mysteries around our regeneration, we should always remember that we're brethren. Secondly, he said he holds that the Reformation view is better for him. Then the part that blessed me the most. How do you know you're elect? I listened a bit and paused there to meditate until I got distracted. But I really wanted to re-hear the things he was saying. They were really reinforcing the Sola Gratia truth. Things happening within more than things without, things that depend more on God than us: sorrow for sin, fear of God and desire for righteousness. But I had a question (please, don't bother about a debate). I'm just reflecting. You know I was asking myself, and telling myself, all of these is the crisis between how much of God, and how much of man is responsible for their eternal destination. The Reformed conclusion made God absolutely responsible for both ends in my opinion, even though, it's said to be passing over as the Esau-Jacob narrative puts it, but I feel that's a picture to show us God's grace without it being a conclusion on God's revelation in that face of scripture saying "God who wants all to be saved...and not willing that any should perish." And then the Remonstrance (I told you all that he thought history 😂), makes it partly God and partly man; and that's also a bit tricky in the face of the substantial scripture supporting it was all of God. And my conclusion is that we may be wrestling something altogether: the difficulty of looking at God's election and calling him unjust as Paul said in Romans 9 then adds "What if." I don't think he was making a sure statement. The opening makes it look plausible and assumptive. He wasn't sure God is doing that in my opinion. So, I person was just reflecting. Could this be the difficulty? God chose us, and God didn't choose others; OR God quickened us to choose Him, and some chose and others didn't? I would listen to Session 2 on my way home this evening. May God bless those brethren, and it gladdens me personally that even the Remonstrance guys like the Protestant guys, in history, and by the fruit of their lives, were children of God. God bless Pst. Seye and increase His grace upon Him. Such a good teacher, and not too emotive. Reminds me of @Thatnsukkaboy_ . They talk, and they just talk with much emotions. I know myself 😂😂😂
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 HE that believeth on him is not condemned: but HE that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For EVERY ONE that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But HE that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Twist “whosoever,” “the world,” and “he that believeth” however your theology demands, but you cannot erase what Christ plainly declares here: salvation is offered through Him to all, and men stand condemned ONLY for their unbelief, not because God takes pleasure in their destruction or deliberately withheld the provision of salvation from some.

Have you heard about Okoro?
My advice to the current supporters of Peter Obi is to desist from insulting Ex Obidients who worked closely with Peter Obi in the past, just let them be, hit the streets and mobilize for PO offline, constant provocation from you can push them to reveal things about your principal, don’t forget you support from a distance and they worked closely with him. In conclusion: Let them be and focus on canvassing for your candidate offline, even if they throw subtle jabs, I advice you to ignore, your goal should be winning more people over into your camp.

I'm an old, retired RN (among other occupations) and have a pretty strong stomach for trauma. When I heard the words, "Holy F____, our time is coming to an end," I had tears. The opportunity to place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation had passed.

There's a kind of commitment required for people to behave properly in marital relationships. Courtship provides that framework. Two people winging emotions between themselves in the name of relationship have too many reasons to put up certain behaviours.
Whatever is not "accountable courtship" is a wild experiment and believers should not be encouraged to have anything to do with it. Simply put, dating is not a Christian practice and most Christians who strongly fancy it will likely be problems.

What about men? This a Christian marriage conversation, and una don go "so women." Kai 🤦‍♂️
So basically you guys are saying that women who have gone through cases like domestic violence which obviously doesn’t involve adultery do not need to leave their marriage and also when they do, they should not remarry? Ok

Pray hard. Marry with a multitude of counsellors. Don't be an insincere Christian, that's the fastest way to find another insincere Christian and marry wrongly. To the pure, He'll show Himself pure. To the froward, He'll show Himself froward. You can't game God. Be true!

Adultery is not, but we're not ready.
We have to be careful about this marriage thing. If adultery is a biblical ground to end marriage covenant, shouldn't it also be enough ground to remarry?

If you go this direction, we won't have canon.
The most interesting thing about marriage discussions is that those who are not married are the most opinionated on the matter. Such a hilarious trend. 😭 Jesus gave 2-3 clear directions and opted out of marriage issues. When it was Paul's time, he was able to offer more counsel. Maybe people didn't realise how much Jesus ran away from human nature issues. He barely attended to any rifts, conflicts, and disputes at any level. Jesus avoided earthly issues almost completely. He focused squarely on preaching about the Kingdom and healing the sick. This is the reason every Christian must tread with caution when addressing certain issues. One thing is clear: there are many issues in marriage nowadays that are never captured in the Bible. The reason is simple: most of those issues were not existing or, at best, were not presented before Jesus, Paul, and the Apostles. Even under the Law, Moses couldn't capture the issues we have right now. What is the solution? Let the pastors and elders judge each matter on its merits. Our rigid and unkind approach to marriage is why Christians are dying in marriage, and many others are unhappy. I know lots of couples in their 50s and 60s who want a divorce right now. They stayed because of their children, and their children have left. Churches are battling to keep them together. Let pastors and wise elders judge each case on its merits. Serial marital cheats Financial abuse Emotional abuse Sexual abuse Physical abuse Financial issues... These are deadly issues in marriage, and they are prevalent in modern marriages. Most people running commentary here have never been married, or you are still in the honeymoon phase. If a couple divorces, please, no one should be subjected to the torture of mental, emotional, physical, and sexual loneliness for the rest of their lives. It's an unpleasant place to be. Let people remarry. Don't let people die. Like I said, only singles and young folks like myself are busy running commentary with almost no understanding of what they are talking about.

Presumptuous sin. Someone said that's why the Holy Ghost struck Ananias. Correct. Because you're dealing with God here.
This is a hard teaching but it’s what the Bible says. However there is a cheat code, commit adultery, divorce on the premise of the adultery, ask God for forgiveness for the adultery, now you are rightly divorced and can marry again. 🚶🏾‍♀️🚶🏾‍♀️🚶🏾‍♀️

"Ma'am" 👀 Side Note looking at you
No ma'am. I'm following instructions from above... my account will be heavily monitored ... Even my posts will be scrutinised before you see it released. I'm not gonna leave patients hanging, I'll refer them to some really great female doctors here and other platforms. I swore the hippocratic oath and so I'll still fulfil my duty. I will refer very appropriately... This is an important step by all the authorities involved.

"Normally, women understand women better." Good luck to everyone involved.
sorry guys, I've been seeing all your DMs, you won't be able to pay for consultations and won't be receiving consultations for now... Plus, all free consultations are cancelled indefinitely... I'm sorry I can't help any of you for now. Please, do not make any payment for consultations. To the thousands of women we have helped in the past, free of charge and paid consultations... I did that free-spirited, but now seeing what some of these women can do and be on the TL, it is important we be extra careful... and for now, no more consultations. To the innocent women it'll affect, I'll say "I'm sorry"... there are really other great doctors on the TL and great ones in the hospital. We are only exercising caution. I'll continue educating yall on the TL. Thank you for your attention to this matter. God bless you all. Love you all👏👏❤️

The concept of El Roi is beautiful when we apply it to provision, healing, protection etc but it should also produce a shivering conviction and reverence that God actually SEES us, and he sees our private life, the lies, the immorality, the bribes…..EVERYTHING
