Vital Signs: Another world is possible, is an engaging exhibition on climate change. It was really good to see visitors listening to CASH's testimony on #airpollution from the Green Quarter including staff from @Breathe_London. london.sciencegallery.com/sg…
🎭 SOUTHALL’S THREE JOKERS — AND NOBODY’S LAUGHING!
Deirdre Costigan, Superintendent Sean Lynch, and the third person pictured — residents deserve answers, not excuses! What’s the point of respect orders if nobody enforces them?
🔥 LESS TALK, MORE ACTION!
When open drug use & dealing become a regular sight on our street people understandably lose confidence that anything is being done
Residents deserve more than words They deserve visible policing consistent enforcement & a clear plan to tackle the problems affecting Southall
Southall is in rapid decline and we will.strive to hold the councillors accountable for the visible evidence of this on the streets of #Southall . Email your ward councillors and let us know if you receive a reply; ealing.moderngov.co.uk/mgFin…

Please join us on 31st October at 2PM outside Southall Station
✊ SOUTHALL COMMUNITY ACTION MEETING
📅 31 OCTOBER | 🕑 2PM
📍 Outside Southall Town Hall
TURN UP. SPEAK OUT. HOLD YOUR COUNCILLORS TO ACCOUNT. SOUTHALL DESERVES BETTER!
Southall residents must demand answers from their councillors. Ask what they will do, when they will do it and how they will prove it is working.
No more empty promises. No more passing the buck. We want a plan, deadlines, enforcement and results.
A constituent waited a year to get an appointment with @deirdrecostigan. I sent several emails requesting an appointment and never received a reply. After multiple phone calls to her constituency office, the phone was finally answered and an appointment was arranged. #Southall
A constituent waited 6 months for the housing support they were owed from Universal Credit.
I stepped in, DWP fixed the errors, and they got £200 in compensation.

Human arrogance towards nature is despicable. We act like we're the rulers of the planet, exploiting resources without a second thought. But nature isn't ours to conquer,it's a delicate system we depend on.We've lost 68% of wildlife populations since 1970 to habitat destruction
Southall our voice matters
🔥 SOUTHALL, THIS IS OUR CHANCE TO BE HEARD.
Our community deserves better — and staying silent won’t change it.
31 OCTOBER • 2PM • SOUTHALL TOWN HALL
📢 Turn up. Speak out. Make your voice count.
Southall matters. Our voice matters. 💪🧡
The councillors are to blame for the lack of robust enforcement action in #Southall. Sussex Road has multiple HMOs without sufficient bins which is one source of the fly-tipping epidemic. Cllr Kamaljit Dhindsa's empathy lies with 'poor' fly-tippers not with those affected.
A resident nearly tripped over a large fly-tip on Sussex Road. This road and Featherstone, Dudley & Scotts Road are dimly kit. A well lit adjacent road to Scotts Road us included for comparison. According to Cllr Anand, the roads meets the council's lighting standards. #Southall
Celebrating placements is easy. The real test is what happens after the photo opportunity. How many care leavers have moved into sustainable jobs, apprenticeships or training after completing the programme? Show residents the outcomes, not just the publicity. 🎯
@kamnagpal has done nothing to help young people in #Southall including care leavers who were vulnerable to drug dealers operating on the grounds of @westlondoncol. With quiet persistence, residents achieved the removal of an abandoned car and fencing of the site. #safeguarding
A real pleasure to celebrate our care leavers today who’ve successfully completed work placements through Ealing’s Our Horizons Pathways Programme. So proud of their achievements🎉 We’re committed to ensuring our care leavers have the support they need into sustainable employment
@kamnagpal Goood move but open your post for replies, reply to emails and voice messages and meet residents at the next community action to hear their experiences of drug use and drug dealing within the vicinity of RISE but better still, RESIGN!
I have written to Ealing Council’s Planning Department to formally object to the proposed bingo hall at 48 South Road, Southall (Planning Application 262964FUL).
