Are you a trainee in cognitive neuroscience looking for a supporting, engaging community? Look no further! The Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS) Trainee Association is launching a new Discord server (discord.com/invite/dc9nAUeg7…) to help connect cognitive neuroscience trainees around the world year-round, beyond the CNS annual meeting. Unlike traditional social media, Discord offers real-time, organized discussions, stronger networking, and a distraction-free space with no ads or algorithms pushing unrelated content—designed specifically for cognitive neuroscience trainees. This server will provide a space for: 1) Sharing and informally chatting about your research and learning about others’ work 2) Posting and discovering opportunities (jobs, grants, etc.) 3) Socializing and networking with fellow trainees at the annual meeting and beyond The server is open to all graduate students and postdoctoral fellows conducting research in cognitive neuroscience—broadly defined as studying the psychological, computational, and neuroscientific bases of cognition.
