60 years ago today, Colorado State defeated #10 Wyoming 12–10 at Colorado Field in a famous Border War matchup remembered for a trick play. Trailing 7–3 in the third quarter, Colorado State used a 4th-down trick play where a pass bounced off the turf to Tom Pack for a touchdown, putting the Rams ahead 9–7.

Of course they do. It is a way more interesting format. I think the important thing is that access to the CFP needs to remain (and should be expanded tbh) for the 6 conferences, and the team(s) that go to the CFP need to be able to come back and play in theis playoff.

Maybe it is just me, but it seems strange that they are putting a fixed cap on it instead of a % average of revenue generated the prior year as inflation (or deflation) would effect how much there is to spend.
