Tony Smith was not only a celebrated artist but also an architect who once worked under Frank Lloyd Wright. His sculpture Spitball (1961, fabricated 1970), made from painted steel, weighs 7K pounds and is just one of many remarkable works you’ll find on campus at CWRU.
