First and foremost, I want to thank God. He gave me the love and passion for this game, the strength to keep pushing through the hard days, and the ability to continue chasing a dream that once felt so far away. He has opened doors for me that I never could have opened on my own, and I know He has been beside me every step of this journey. I’m trusting Him with this next chapter. 🙏🏼❤️
With that being said, I’m beyond blessed and incredibly excited to announce that I have committed to continue my academic and athletic career at Lees-McRae College! 🐾💙
Coach Josh and the Lees-McRae softball program, thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and seeing something in me that made you want me to be a part of your program. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to continue doing what I love at the next level. From the beginning, there was something about Lees-McRae that felt different. I truly believe God led me here, and I can’t wait to call Lees-McRae home.
To my family, there are not enough words to thank you. You have sacrificed, traveled countless miles, sat through endless games and practices, picked me up when I was discouraged, celebrated every high, and stood beside me through every low. You believed in me even when I doubted myself. This dream is just as much yours as it is mine, and I would not be here without you. I love you more than you know. ❤️
To my travel ball coaches Shep, Matt, and Michelle, thank you for investing your time, knowledge, and belief in me. You have pushed me, challenged me, and helped me grow not only as a softball player, but as a person. I’ll always be grateful for everything you have done for me.
To all of my teammates, thank you for being such a huge part of this journey. The memories, the laughs, the long days, the tough losses, and the big wins are things I’ll carry with me forever.
I’m also incredibly thankful for the Mercado and Sluggers organizations and all of the coaches who believed in me and gave me opportunities to play at the next level. I was blessed to receive multiple offers, and I’m genuinely grateful for every coach and program that saw potential in me and gave me a chance. Choosing where to continue my career was not an easy decision, but after praying about it and following where God was leading me, I knew Lees-McRae was home.
I’m so thankful for everyone who has played a part in getting me to this moment. The dream continues. Let’s go Bobcats🐾💚
Committed. Blessed. Grateful. Ready for what God has planned next.
