Feeling incredibly grateful after an inspiring week as visiting professor at the University of Bari Aldo Moro as part of the Erasmus+ KA131 programme.
Over the last few days, I had the privilege of delivering three seminars covering the fundamentals of mechanochemistry, green metrics, and the exciting opportunities that mechanochemistry offers for organic and pharmaceutical synthesis. Every discussion reinforced something I strongly believe: science advances when knowledge is shared openly.
A huge thank you to
@Capriati_V and
@LucianaCicco_ for the warm welcoming, their outstanding hospitality, and for making me feel part of the group from the very first day. It was a real pleasure to meet and exchange ideas wit the rest of the research team. I truly felt at home, and I leave Bari with new ideas, new collaborations, and many great memories.
A special thanks also to Filippo Perna and
@JoaquinGA78 for all the work behind the Erasmus+ exchange and to the Erasmus+ programme for making opportunities like this possible. A few years ago, I would never have imagined having the privilege of travelling abroad to share my research and learn from such talented colleagues.
I also feel incredibly fortunate to work in mechanochemistry, a field that is rapidly transforming the way we think about sustainable synthesis. There is still so much to discover, and I am convinced that some of the most exciting developments are yet to come.
Finally, it is always an honour to represent
@UOquimicaOI,
@iuqoem and
@uniovi_info wherever I go. I hope this is just the beginning of many more scientific exchanges and collaborations.
Keep sharing knowledge. Keep collaborating. Keep working. ♻️🧪
