🚇 I've been travelling London talking to people about public toilets.
🚽 From the 12 stop loo desert on the northern line, to every assembly constituency
💯 Unanimous consensus: London needs more public toilets
💚 Greens will champion more, better, accessible public toilets.
🚨BREAKING -- The Palestine Action defendants have been sentenced for a combined total of more than 25 years.

The tube strike showing just how many people can get around on a bike and how much less space is taken up by people cycling rather than sitting in cars.
Hope TfL will check if there’s any lessons to learn or changes to make to keep people on their bikes on non strike days too.
Londoners love their bike lanes.
In the five years I have been commuting to work by bike, I have never seen it so busy.
Thank you @willnorman for making this possible!

As long as people are stuck in car dependency without good public transport, those who should not be behind a wheel will be forced to resist rules to restrict them.
Ending road death MUST mean green transport ££ and lower speeds, car sizes and traffic, not just action on drivers
Proud of @carla_denyer and @TheGreenParty for calling for the EHRC’s transphobic ‘guidance’ to be withdrawn. The EHRC’s call for lesbian/gay associations to exclude trans people is atrocious and we won’t let them divide us.
ALT Greens call for single-sex guidance to be withdrawn
WE DID IT!!!!!! 🎉
Thank you to every single person who knocked on a door, made a call, delivered a leaflet — or simply believed that St Ann’s deserves better.
Thank you to the voters of St. Ann’s for this opportunity.
This is a historic victory, & it belongs to all of you.
@CarolineRussell advocating and fighting for pedestrians the 100 signalled traffic junctions in London that have no pedestrian phase. At launch of #GreenLinks#Footways maps.
Public toilets are critical for public health and accessibility.
🚽 Great to see the British Toilet Association @britloos launch a campaign for public toilets to be a legal requirement.

🧻 The need for a legal duty (and funding from govt) on boroughs to provide public toilets that are free to use was one of the recommendations in the @londonassembly.bsky.social Health Committee Toilet Paper report.

There are serious questions about forced labour in Shein's supply chains - and ongoing legal action against them - TfL should not be making money from companies with such opaque business practices promoting fast fashion.
👋 @noahvickers14 for picking up my letter to the Mayor

Thank you @CarolineRussell for pressing the Mayor on this on my behalf - young people should not have to pay more just to use modern payment methods to get around!
Transport for London is exploring whether Railcards can be linked to passengers’ contactless bank cards or phones, enabling them to enjoy discounts on their Tube travel:

Powerful speech on the #CANBill by Green MP @carla_denyer
"The Government ignored the campaign for months.... The best they have offered is a meeting and a video with Ed Miliband"
"The existing legislation is based on science that is out of date".🔥🔥
Some MPs are telling constituents that we don’t need to upgrade our 17 year old climate laws. They’re plain wrong.
Here’s why: 🧵1/3
1️⃣ Too weak to drive any meaningful change in the all-important near-term—allowing Gov to avoid taking the action needed.
