.@POTUS: "It's a totally false story... It was just Fake News. Amazing."
.@VanityFair posted an excerpt from a book containing outrageous and categorically false allegations. The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened. We denied every one of these claims on the record, yet the author failed to provide a single shred of evidence to substantiate any of them. No bank statements, wire transfer records, account numbers, transaction dates, or other verifiable details were provided to support these extraordinary accusations. During the period in question, I was one of the most scrutinized people in the world, subjected to intense media coverage, multiple congressional investigations, and a special counsel investigation. I voluntarily cooperated with these investigations, providing over 30 hours of testimony. None of these allegations ever surfaced, because none of these events ever happened. These are outrageous fabrications being presented as investigative journalism. This is not journalism. It is a mixture of fantasy, fiction, and advocacy, written by someone who is either deeply disturbed or acting with sinister intent.

I appreciate seeing a publication willing to take a closer look at the underlying facts rather than simply repeat these allegations. This story will not withstand scrutiny. To date, no verifiable evidence has been presented to substantiate these false claims. I hope others, including those commenting on X, will take the time to examine the facts before repeating these accusations. Credibility matters, and serious allegations deserve serious scrutiny.

This VF Kushner story falls in the category of “don’t believe everything you read in the papers.” That is, unless you believe the Europeans sat on this for eight years while they and Democrats were trying to run Kushner off Ukraine. You’d also have to believe that the only person they told was a reporter, who then sat on it for six more years while Kushner reshaped Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa — and only released it when he could get paid for his book. Don’t be that gullible. Use your heads.
“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed. This bullshit Vanity Fair article comes from a book that is complete fiction, and was fabricated from the warped mind of failed spy thriller writer. He presents no evidence or even a shred of documentation. Just mysterious words from unnamed sources. TOTAL FAKE NEWS!

Another day, another hit job on @jaredkushner. Why? Because he’s working hard to end wars and bring world peace.

Before publication, we sent Simon & Schuster a detailed 13-page letter responding to and categorically denying the extraordinary allegations made against my client, Jared Kushner, and challenging the total absence of supporting evidence. Vanity Fair has now published an excerpt amplifying these false and defamatory allegations. We have seen no credible evidence substantiating any of these claims, and we question what independent verification Vanity Fair conducted before publishing them. We intend to pursue legal action against those responsible and hold them accountable.

Apologies for bursting your conspiratorial bubble, but here’s the global affairs correspondent at Axios debunking these claims as unrealistic and untenable. (in addition to Jared denying the claims and zero facts or evidence being provided to substantiate them)
There are many things in this book excerpt that was published in Vanity Fair that don't add up, but two are extremely questionable: 1. I don't think it is even technically possible to put together such an account in the bank of Israel, Netanyahu can't really be a signatory and these accounts are under significant monitoring by career civil servants 2. To suggest that this whole thing happens in a triangle between Kushner, Friedman and Bibi seems to me impossible considering what I know about the relationships

My statement as Jared’s attorney: “The central allegation in this book is categorically false. These are not questions of interpretation or competing recollections: there are no bank accounts. They don’t exist. These are egregious and defamatory claims without a shred of evidence to substantiate them.”

Encouraging progress over the past several days. @SEPeaceMissions and I are grateful to @POTUS for his leadership and to our Ukrainian, European, and Russian counterparts for engaging constructively. There is still hard work ahead, but we have a real opportunity to move beyond this war and build a framework for lasting peace, security, and prosperity for generations to come.
In Oslo and St. Petersburg, @JaredKushner and I met with Russian, Ukrainian, and European leaders to advance President Trump’s mission to end the war. In St. Petersburg, we met with President Putin to build on the progress made in Oslo with President Zelenskyy, discuss a peace framework, and thank President Putin for releasing American citizen Stephen Hubbard to return home to his family. These discussions were constructive, and will continue with trilateral talks between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine at the technical level. While there is still important work left to do, President Trump remains committed to seeing this war end and achieving a comprehensive, durable peace that will provide security and prosperity for generations to come.

Personal update: Turns out that what I thought was leaving OpenAI became more of a sabbatical. When I left a few months ago, I felt that the most important thing to focus on was making AI more useful to people. But we’ve since entered a different regime of AI progress. One in which getting the safety and security challenges of increasingly capable AI right has to become a central priority. So I’ll be returning to OpenAI, joining @merettm to help chart a path through these challenges. There’s much work to do, so let’s get going.

A durable peace in Gaza requires an end to Hamas rule, security for Israel, and a better future for the Palestinian people. President Trump’s Board of Peace is working with our partners to turn that vision into reality. Important perspective from the @WSJ Editorial Board.
A sensible approach to advancing the President’s plan in Gaza by @WSJ: “…Israelis are united on the end goal. Getting there will likely require doing more to help a friendly Board of Peace.”

The return of the hostages was a historic achievement. The signing in Sharm El Sheikh represented a commitment to what comes next. What made that day remarkable was that countries put aside profound differences to pursue something bigger: ending the war and creating the conditions for lasting peace. I’m grateful to President Trump for his leadership, President el-Sisi for hosting us, and our partners in Israel, Qatar and Turkey, for making this agreement possible. The signing was a milestone, but the true measure of its success will be what we build from it. A secure Israel. A peaceful and rebuilt Gaza. A more integrated region where children grow up with greater opportunity and less fear than their parents knew. There is much work ahead, and progress will not be easy or linear. But with big dreams and hard work, the possibility of a better future is real, and worth the effort. The greatest achievement of diplomacy is not just the conflicts we end, but the futures we make possible.

One year ago today, all 20 remaining living Israeli hostages finally came home after two years of unimaginable suffering in Gaza. Welcoming them home and seeing them reunited with their families was one of the most special moments of my life. After so much pain, uncertainty, and heartbreak, seeing families embrace their loved ones again was something I will never forget. The hostages endured hell, and their families demonstrated extraordinary strength, courage, and resilience through the darkest of times. @SEPeaceMissions and I are deeply grateful to @POTUS for his leadership and determination, @VP, @SecRubio, and our partners in Israel, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey - particularly @netanyahu, @AmbDermer, @TamimBinHamad, @MBA_AlThani_, Ali Al-Thwadi, @AlsisiOfficial, General Hasan, @EgyptForeignMin, @RTErdogan, @HakanFidan, @ikalin1, and many others who worked tirelessly to make this day possible. Above all, today belongs to the freed hostages and their families. Their strength and determination will always inspire me.
