This ridiculous military showboating at football games needs to STOP.
Now a man could lose his life, all because some Hegseth-like official apparently thought putting on a macho spectacle for people who came to watch FOOTBALL was a brilliant idea.
These men are human beings, NOT props for someone's political theater.

A U.S. Army officer falls to the field at high speed during a fast rope demonstration gone wrong during the Navy vs UTSA pregame tonight.
The officer was attended to on the field and taken to the hospital on a stretcher. There has been no update on his condition but we pray that he was not seriously injured.
Community note
Air Force confirmed the service member, a USAF Airman, died from injuries after the rappelling demonstration. It was not a fast-rope or Army officer.

She showed up, took the questions, handled the pressure, and carried herself with professionalism while reporters routinely treated her with open hostility.
Now? The Trump clown show gets kid-glove treatment because too many in the press are terrified of losing access.
That contrast tells you everything.
It’s sickening.
