Happy 18th Birthday to Kuvua the okapi! Those striped legs might remind you of a zebra, but the okapi’s closest living relative is the giraffe. Okapis have large ears that help them listen for danger and long tongues for gathering leaves.

The hippo spa 🐟 The tilapia that share the pool with the hippos serve multiple purposes. They help keep the water clean by eating the hippo dung & they eat the dead skin off of the hippos to keep them clean & free of micro-organisms. This is called a symbiotic relationship.
