The MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) came out on May 4th.
That was only 6 months before the M1 Apple Silicon processor announcement on November 10, 2020.
This model has the distinction of being the very last Apple Intel laptop ever released.

So I finally broke down and bought myself an Apple HomeView. I actually hung this on the wall myself. Voila. Right into the wall.

Yet, the new Apple HomeView DOES have a removable USB-C cable and includes a 30w power adapter. 👍
The new HomePod mini 2 is "built with the environment in mind" yet still has a non-removable power cable.
Did you move furniture onto the cable, or did your cat eat through it?
Buy a new one.

Wait... I just noticed something else from the HomeView video🤔
When she goes to grab the HomeView, you can see her right hand reach out to grab the lower right hand corner of the screen. But then the cut shows her grab the top of the base to rotate it?
Did they not like the cut where the entire base rotates? (This would would have shown the USB-C plug rotate along with the entire unit)
I realize this is super nerd nitpicking level stuff here, but I find this interesting.🤓
I really like the new Apple HomeView device!
The only thing I can't get past, (as a previous iMac G4 owner) is the screen can't rotate vertically.
Notice the slick Apple video edit:
If someone needs to rotate HomeView, the whole base needs to rotate along with the power cord.

Now this is neat... You can now use HomePod mini 2 as default speakers for Mac!
On HomePod mini 1, you had to use AirPlay, which sometimes added a 2-3 second delay to the audio.
