Linebackers: Keep your LEVERAGE. Make the play.

"If your ass thinks you can just show up on any Saturday and win because you have a logo or label you're out of your mind." Mario Cristobal doesn't mince words on College Gameday today talking about Miami being ranked #1. "What do you do with your team to try to establish consistency and performance when everybody's shooting at you? You go at 'em right between the eyes with truth, honesty, and transparency. You make practices really challenging. You make sure you highlight all the areas you gotta get better at and make it real clear if we don't get better at those things, we won't be able to accomplish our goals."

Good luck to our Illinois guys in the playoffs! Leave it all out on the field and Go 1-0! #TheRightWay @CoachRook @IHSA_IL

Good luck to our Georgia guys in the playoffs! Go 1-0 each week! #TheRightWay @CoachRook @OfficialGHSA

Best wishes to our Texas guys in the playoffs! Go 1-0 each week! #TheRightWay @CoachRook @uiltexas

Congrats to our Team Captain, Armando Martinez for being named CCIW Defensive Player of the Week! Continue to go 1-0 in everything you do! #TheRightWay @Armando67338777 @CoachRook @VikingsNPU @npuchicago

“We won the game, but we didn’t really defeat the team” If you allow yourself to be happy over results, you’ll die by the same sword. Chase the standard, not the outcome. The score may indicate what you did, but the process reveals who you are becoming.

Year 2 underway. Let’s roll. GO BRAVES!! @mtz_football

Think Marcus Freeman misses coaching linebackers? Even in his fifth year as the head coach at Notre Dame, the former Ohio State linebacker and longtime LBs coach is involved with his old position group every day.

Nick Saban - Tite Front Defensive Philosophy - "I do think Mint (Tite Front) is a better way to play most runs, especially in spread. I think you force the ball to the apex players. I think it's a better way to play split safety coverage because you don't have to worry about gap deficiencies because you're playing inside-out with the nose and 4i's."
